My daughters and I enjoyed this mall because there weren’t many tourists! We ate at the food court and got the best fried rice for 40 baht which was about $1.26 in USD! There were different shops and it was refreshing to observe and interact with the caring Chiang Mai people.
A Cheap Shopping Mall in the Heart of Chiang Mai City . Near Many Night Market and Bazaars . There is a Pizza Hut in the Ground Floor.
Pontip Plaza is a nice mall and one of the older malls in Chiangmai. It’s always clean and neat and has a friendly staff. Please consider the dates of other reviews as many shops have closed due to the pandemic. What’s there now are some really good tech shops including computer sales and repair, photo equipment shops, a KFC, Watsons, Big C market, and a great coffee kiosk. Where the mall really shines is the top floor that includes professional services (legal, visa, accounting, etc), a Thai style food court and perhaps most importantly, a bevy of Thai language schools.
