  1. Seems to be a less visited National Park of Thailand considering we were the only ones camping there (however, it was a week day).We went on a road trip by car so not sure of the accessibility with public transport. It is recommended to go with your car as the camping site is around 4 km from the entrance and you would have to carry all your tent equipment by yourself. The best part was camping right on the river bank and listening to the crashing over the rocks. We also prepared a camp fire and cuddled close to it since the temperature during January is below 20C. I am not sure about food facilities at the camp site. I did see one place across the river but we didn’t have to go there as we brought our own food. Better to call the office and check in advance. The only negative point is the condition of the toilets/bathrooms which needs a major fixer-upper.

  2. Nice and relaxing place if you need place for relaxing and recharge your batteries I would like to recommend to this place. Quite and all people around you willing to help and give you advice. We love Thung Salaeng Luang Thailand 🇹🇭

  3. We didn’t see any this time, because we didn’t have time to camp overnight the way we usually do, but it’s a lovely peaceful place to spend a couple of hours to break a tiring journey from Phitsanulok to Chaiyaphum. It can get crowded at the weekends, but the afternoon we were there there’s was nobody else around, and it was very relaxing to go for a stroll and watch the birds befoe getting back on the road.

  4. One night trip in this National Park returns fresh breath in your life, this is good for family and children, nothing exciting but just for sleep well.

  5. We were exploring some national parks in this area and compared to the others there is zero reason to come here. Overpriced entrance fee, zero information and zero motivated park rangers. For us it was waste of time as we had a much better and relaxing time at Nam Nao National Park and Phu Tubberk.

  6. 40 baht for local 500 baht for foreigner this is insane. This isn’t just duel pricing this is down right scam Imagine a thai national paying 12.5x more to get into the London eye there would be outrage! I’m done with thailand 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

  7. This national park is located in the highlands from Phitsanulok to Phetchabun and is the largest of the several forest parks along National Highway 12. It is essentially divided into two areas: the northern area (Nakhontai District and Wang Thong District) themed on the waterfalls of the Kaek River system that runs parallel to National Highway 12, and the southern area themed on the vast grasslands in the mountainous area of Khao Kho District. In the northern area based on Nakhontai District and Wang Thong District, hiking trails have been developed to enjoy the tranquil mountain area of the Kaek River basin, including Kaeng Sopa Waterfall, and the sling bridge, which was built in 1958 (when the park first opened), blends in with the surrounding atmosphere and exudes a unique presence. As a national park with a long history, bungalows have been developed, but as with the southern area, self-catering is the norm during your stay.
