  1. People tried the hardest to catch u the best fish and make sure u have a great day would recommend to anyone who likes fishing

  2. TOTAL SCAM- Booked for 0800 pickup for Giant Park. Called 0820 to find my booking had not been received and that a taxi had been called for me. 0900 taxi arrived and took me Amazon Park. Was told that Giant Park (same owner) has been closed for last three months and that cost for fishing Amazon was 4000 baht- NOT the 2500 I’d planned to spend.Spoke to the owner in Bangkok via mobile but wouldn’t budge on price. Cut my losses and left, profoundly disappointed, and 800 baht poorer for the cab fare.Apparently he does this often. Zero communication and ambushes punters once they’re there.Honestly… don’t bother!AVOID GIANT (if it re-opens) & AMAZON FISHING PONDS!

  3. This place used to be a paradise for fishing fanatics like me. This is catch and release fishing and when they used to release the fish back they applied medicine to take care of the fish which was very good.Cons noticed now# Not matching the price – They charge 4500 baht for fishing# Only chicken fried rice for lunch with one bottle of water. NO BEER AND SOFT DRINKS SERVED AS PUBLISHED # Helpers keep on talking amongst themselves which is irritating.# Every time there is a pull 99% it is a red tail Cat Fish. The lake is infested with them. The management should do something to ensure other species do not take the same bait and are fished.# Lot of dishes died specially Ariapamma which I could not catch this time which was in plenty earlier.# NO MEDICINE applied for the fish when released back in the water.Pros# The Cambodian guide Nika very helpful chap but management should look at his salary 🤔. If he is motivated he is the best I have seen so far in casting.# The lake has shade to sit and fish# Pick up and drop is efficient.# Fishes caught were Mekong Cat Fish, Red Tails and Aligator GarI WILL DEFINITELY VISIT AGAIN BUT LOOK FOR A CHANGE POSITIVELY WITH THE INFESTED RED TAILS

  4. Amazon Is the nicest fishing park I have visited in many years of fishing all around Thailand; the only one that brings all the elements together in one place. First of all it has the fish: more than a dozen Asian and South American species. Some of those are big fish, like Mekong Cats up to 40 kg and Arapaima up to 60. The biggest fish I saw landed was a 19.5 kg Siamese Carp but bigger fish teased us all day long, swirling at the surface, creating big boils and occasionally running hard with a bait. Bites were steady all day, slow at times, but everyone caught fish. I landed a Paccu of perhaps 7 kg, lost a few Big fish I never saw, and was abused mercilessly by smaller bait-steelers all day (which I fully enjoyed). Thanks to the setting, occasional periods of slow fishing were also very pleasant. The Park is built around an ecologically mature pond of about 2 hectares, surrounded by overarching shade trees, bounded by lush ground vegetation, and well populated with local aquatic flora. It is lovely all day long but truly idyllic in the morning hours. About 8 fishing stations are distributed around the perimeter, all with shade and comfortable seating. Another nice feature: the Park is quite far from any major road. You could hear distant traffic from time to time if you listened specifically for it, but for the most part, there were only the sounds of the gentle breezes through the trees and the singing birds, including a family of Kingfishers that make their home there. The next thing that impressed me was the quality of the gear. The rods and reels were good quality and well maintained. The reels were filled with new line, the leaders were well tied and in perfect condition, the hooks were sharp. You can thank John for this, the owner, who is himself a lifelong avid fisherman. Bait was good quality too, both for the vegetarian and predatory fish. Service came in at the same level. This included expert set up with the gear and continuous checking in during the day by various staff members to make sure everything was at its best to catch fish, but it went beyond that. As the fish started to quiet down in the noonday sun, menu’s magically appeared. Good Menus! With appetizing Western and Thai dishes. In true fisherman junk-food fashion, I started off with some wings and an ice cold Singha. Much to my delight, and thanks to Yo’s skills in the kitchen, the wings turned out the best I’ve had in the Kingdom of Thailand! Fresh tasty tender with garlic and local Thai spices. But they have main dishes too, and including breakfast. When I first arrived, two early starters were being served big plates with fresh home-cooked English Breakfast looking better than I’ve ever seen in any hotel or restaurant. Generally I don’t consider food a major factor in evaluating a fishing park, but it sure does add a lot when its good! The Park can also arrange transportation for you. Yo arrived outside my hotel 5 minutes before my appointed pick-up time and drove me to the Park, then graciously dropped me off again at the end of the day.I recommend you make reservations in advance. I had hoped to visit on an earlier trip to Pattaya but they were fully booked 3-4 days in advance. Day after Halloween, no problem, but with the coming high season, it would probably be a good idea to give them as much advance notice as you can. Bring sunscreen and bug repellant just in case, then relax for a completely enjoyable day.

  5. This was a little pricey ,but worth the trip, they have experience helpers that know what how to catch fish, give a small tip to the guide as far as I know they provide lunch,we caught big catfish and a few red tails, this was fun,but in all honesty for just a little more money you can take a day out fishing in a boat near Pattaya pier This was more fun!

  6. I fished last week at the Amazon GIANT Fishing Park. The Amazon Fishing Park is closed. All fish were moved to the Amazon Giant Fishing Park. This is also one of the few fishing parks in Pattaya open on Sundays. The team was super friendly, transport is included in the 3500 baht entrance fee and even though our hotel was a little more than 5 km away they picked us up without discussion. The lake is a little smaller than for example Bungsamran, but the facilities are very well maintained and clean. There were always two staff member standing by and supporting the guests with netting, bait or drinks. You can choose between dead fish, bread mix and chicken hearts for bait. In total there is space for ca. 10 fishing partys, but today there were only two, so it was very relaxing and quiet. Food was good as well.Over the day I caught about 15 fish. A small Arapaima, many Red Tail Catfish, two Mekong Catfish, 3-4 Paku ( which are hard fighters for their size) and some other type of fish I don’t know the name of. The fish were smaller than at Bungsamran, biggest I caught ca. 15 kg, but the Red Tail Catfish and Paku are putting up an amazing fight. In the evening there a sandflies coming out so better bring your insect repellent if you want to continue fishing after 5 p.m.Overall I can very much recommend this fishing park if you want to catch all kinds of different fish and like to have a relaxing day at the lake.If I had one recommendation it would be to setup fans at the Bamboo huts so the heat at noon is a little less exhausting.

  7. Recently went for a full day of fishing at “Amazon Giant Fishing Park” and had a great experience. A well maintained facility, wifi and power right at the water. Our guide Alf was a jewel, very knowledgeable and helpful and knows everything about the species and locations to fish. The fish were plentiful, very aggressive with some bending hooks and not able to turn once they were hooked, a really enjoyable time. Food is also available, variety of items on the menu with beverages available as well. We paid 3000Baht each for all day which included pickup and delivery back to the hotel, one fishing pole and bait. As I said earlier, Alf was our guide, originally from the UK and a really enjoyable man.

  8. 3 amazing days of fishing…whoppers caught every day. Staff are 10/10 and go that extra mile a cater for any need..also cheap!!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else
