Pranburi River is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking , Thailand
There is a little boat tour that you can take upstream from the river mouth! We started off around 5pm and got back about an hour later. We passed through fleets of fishing boats. Some were on their way out to sea.Our boat turned around in the middle of mangrove forest. We enjoyed the sunset on the way back! It was a relaxing experience!
The Pranburi River has some interesting river cruises, some of which go out into the gulf of Thailand. It is a great place (Pranburi town on the river) to celebrate the Thai holiday of Loy Kratong.
Do a river cruse or rent a jet ski or boat and do the river. Great places to eat all over the river.
Interesting by boat from Paknampran. Through the many large Thai fishing boats, up the serpentine Pranburi River lined with Mangroves Disappointing, but to be expected is the amount of floating rubbish from the Fishing boats.
We first visited a local fruit farm, and was showed round by two charming ladies from the farm who then gave us samples of the various tropical fruits. Then it was a short walk to the boat for a cruise down river to the river mouth. Have your cameras ready for the wildlife we saw large swimming monitor lizards, kingfishers and egrets. We passed mangrove swamps and locals in canoes fishing, lower down river is where the fishing boats are moored good photo opportunity can be smelly.
I enjoyed the cruise especially the monitor lizards and looking at the fishing boots the mangroves was fantastic feel it would be better as a 2hr trip not 3
I guess you ever go Pranburi,Prachaup Kirikhan. But may be never been to riverside of Pranburi river……..If you would like to see nature of living riverside here…..The local people they use the river to straight away to the sea.And most of them be a fisherman for living. And some of them do crab, shrimp’s farm also. Then after this you can go to Pranburi railway station market on Saturday….It very nice to see…..what the local of Pranburi people life.
Plasticbags everywhere and very disturbing for us to enjoy our holiday and so bad for the nature. It destroys wildlife
We took a boat trip from inside the Pran Buri Forest Park, but there are other options available as well. Very interesting to guide among the mangrove trees and out into the main channel of the Pran Buri River. Mind-boggling to see all the fishing vessels (how can there be any fish left in the gulf?!). Interesting to see the riverside life.
