True Love Boating is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Tha Lat Kradan-Khlong Kao Rd., 77120, Thailand
My father and I, together with his friends went on board the True Love boat for a morning fishing trip. We were pick up from our condo and arrived at the Racer Marina a little after 7am. The True Love was a medium size boat with a very unique style. The captain told us it was previously a traditional Thai fishing boat and was renovated into a very unique private boat with 1 cabin and a toilet. It was more than enough for our 4 of us, the captain said they accept up to 6. On the back are chairs and pillows, facing each other we had a nice chat on our way, drinking beers. We stopped for an fishing before we arrived at the Dolphin Bay, had no less than 10-15 catches then we moved on to Dolphin Bay. That took about an hour I reckon and when we arrived the Dolphin Bay was AMAZING! The Captain said the area was called “300 peaks” (translated of course) and that is what it is. Mountains after mountains in the background, many islands. As we parked near an island, it was the monkey island I believe, the sea was very calm. I swam and fished and then headed back to the harbour. All in all it was different and quite fun. We had this amazing boat all to ourselves and it was quite a fun experience. We’ll be coming back next time!
The trip with “True Love” and this fabulous crew was an unforgettable experience! The boat is great and brought us in close range to temples we never expected to see in the hills around Hua Hin. Beautiful! Stopped on our way to Dolphin-Bay and went fishing. 2 of us caught White Snappers (which were then brought to our favourite Thai restaurant to cook and grill for us!). To swim in the crystal clear water of the Dolphin-Bay was really cool. On the way back we had a beer (or two…) and came back to see a stunning sunset just before arriving back in the harbour. What a day this was! If you want to share this experience with a private charter, or with your friends only, that the ultimate event.Thanks True Love!
We (family with 2 daughters aged 14 and 10) did a tour with this company yesterday. It was so great that I decided to review them immediately. This because they don’t have so many reviews yet and this made me a little bit doubtful before booking them but there is no reason at all to not book them!The booking process was very prompt and easy with quick and fast replies to our mails. Also answering questions about other things about Hua Hin. The trip itself was amazing. Pick up at the hotel (included in the price) was on time. Short drive to the marina and of we go on the True love. A nicely refurbished fishermans boat. We did the temple tour and this was so relaxing and nice to do. We also got to swim in the sea which was very safe because of the life vests. A system with floating buoys and a life guard on duty. After returning from the sea we went up the river passing by a fishermans harbour which gave again great photo opportunity (next to the sea, fish, temples, …)A trip so great we immediately booked a second one! Luckily they still got an open spot during our holiday!Not to be missed when you are in Hua Hin!!!
We had a fabulous trip on board the ‘True Love’. We booked after seeing on trip advisor and Patrick answered my e mails quickly and efficiently, we arranged to do the fishing tour and also to swim in Dolphin bay and see the temples in the hillside. Booked far in advance so reconfirmed before flying out to Thailand. Patrick picked us up from our hotel (included in price) and took us to the marina. We stopped at a Chinese temple on the way overlooking the river and sea, it was beautiful and I’m really glad we stopped there for a look. The weather had made the sea rough and so Patrick advised we couldn’t go out that way so had made plans to change the trip to a river cruise – which was great! I was so glad he could do this and not just cancel as we would have missed out. It was my husbands birthday and Patrick had arranged a bottle of bubbly for us alongside some fresh pineapple and watermelon. It was so nice of him to do this and very unexpected! The crew were lovely and very accommodating although we were incredibly undemanding and just enjoyed the serenity of the trip. The locals on the fishing boats all waved and shouted hello as we passed. It was like something out of a movie. So relaxing! The boat itself is beautiful and very well renovated with a very clean toilet and lots of seating areas. Do book the True Love if you are thinking of a boat trip, it’s not much more than a group trip and you get better service and lots of privacy! Thank you Patrick and crew!
What a fantastic relaxing day followed by a beautiful sunset on the way back .I took my girlfriend and hired the boat to ourselves , the sea was calm which made for a smooth trip out to the small islands where we stopped for a quick swim and watched the local fishermen at work. Continued along the coast to see the Buddha statues on the hills and saw the monkeys playing on the rocks . Climbing on top of the roof and making good use of the deck chairs we sipped on champagne and with my phone connected to the portable bose sound system playing all my girlfriends favourite tunes it felt like the perfect time to ask her to marry me as the sun set over the hills, she said yes and we set off into the night very happy and passed more fishermen with there night lights which was really beautiful in the darknessThe captain and deck hand were great , limited English but very helpful with big smiles all day.It was nice being on a traditional old fishing boat that cruised at a very easy pace , the boat was clean and they had a esky with cold drinks and fresh pineapple and watermelon.Transfers too and from our hotel were included and jazzy speaks good English if you have any request.I would highly recommend this business , don’t expect a lot and you will get heaps and a lasting memory that will last a lifetime .
Had a lovely experience aboard a true thai boat. We did some fishing all six of us caught several fish. Then we moved on so could have a swim in the sea. The lunch provided on board was lovely. Chicken rice thai green curry then we were given melon and pineapple. The 3 staff on board were brilliant. Helping us with the fishing and supplying us with drinks. Great day out and we had the boat to ourselves. Would recommend
Myself and 5 friends all adults, spent the day on the the true love boat today. The experience from being picked up to the fishing and swimming was great. The captain and his staff could not of done more for us always making sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves. The lunch was delicious and the Thai green curry was the best we have had in Thailand so far. We caught lots of fish and the sea was so warm. We would recommend this trip to anyone wanting a personal and authentic trip on a boat. We laughed all day and will remember this as one of our Thailand highlights…
As a family, we really enjoyed the wonderful fishing trip along the hidden gem of Thailand. The friendly crew are dressed fashionably and are knowledgable of boat safety and taught us how to fish. There is also a roof to protect the passengers from the sun, toilet on the boat and relaxing chairs on the upper deck with fantastic view. The landscape along the river is beautifully decorated by colorful traditional Thai fishing boats that leads to the open body of water in the sea, where we witnessed big Buddha on the hill and rocky islands. Delicious food and drinks are optionally served on board. The trip is well organized and flexible according to customer’s wishes. – Oramon and Gérald
