Khao Takiab Beach is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Thailand
As a beach maybe it’s not super, but as a beach in Hua hin its the better choice. The north side (of khao takiab beach) has an plenty of sunbeds without making the beach to messy. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from. (Bit confusing, from what I understand is that takiab beach is north of the big clip/ hill and khao takiab beach south of the hill/clip)
Favorit beach in Hua Hin a bit south of the city. Having s house in Hua Hin, this is the bea h we prefer to visit. Long and sandy, but a small walk to be able reach water depth enough to swim. Some motorized options but not the bee swarm buzz many other place. Possible also to take a horse ride. Plenty restaurants. Also nice to watch the activity in the fishing harbour, adjacent to the beach.
In Hua Hin, this is a wonderful beach to visit. The talcum powder like sand is just perfect. Located near Monkey Mountain , the monkeys don’t go on the beach. The variety of restaurants range from moderate priced meals and drinks to upscale places. Plenty of activities to enjoy: horse back riding, jet ski rentals, surf board rentals. Plenty of places to grab a shaded lounge chair and get a drink or a massage by the water.
We had a nice visit to the beach and were pretty much the only ones there. Nice sandy beach. The bonus was you use the end of the beach to get to the monkey temple via some steps and the big Buddha.
a very nice beach for family. adjacent is the temple on a hill. alongwith a buddha temple there is a shiva temple too. very beautiful experience watching the ocean from the temple on the hill. great winds bringing tiny drops of ocean water. lovely

Great beach, need a moped to get here from hua hin, worth a visit. Sunbeds on beach nice and quiet, better than hua hin IMO.
This beach is on the south side of the Monkey Mountain Headland in Hua Hin. Broader beach than in Hua Hin town and so at high tide there is still plenty of beach. Lined with sunbed arrays and associated restaurants. 100 Baht to rent a sunbed/umbrella.Further down the beach there are trees lining the beach and as well as the headland you can see some islands and the coast south of Hua Hin. Beach has a shallow gradient and was very calm when we were there.
