  1. This one is unknown to most HuaHin residents to my surprice. Its a bit of from HuaHin though. Expensive entrence fee. Not many animals. You can buy food for animals at entrence. One scary thing is the lion guy, wonder how he lost his arm? There is not much food at this place and its als expensive.

  2. You can see many deer, horses, cows, geese, one alpaca, and one lion, that’s it, no more. If you take photos with lion, it charged you another 200 thb. Save your money to visit somewhere else.

  3. I knew it’s the zoo for small and farm animals, but I didn’t expect to see such a badly maintenance zoo. The animals are very thin, even pigs are very thin. I asked the staff why. They answered, “because they couldn’t fight with other pigs, so they weren’t be able to eat.” That’s super irresponsible. There should be plenty food for animals. Also, their habitats are poorly managed, too small and dirty. I feel sad seeing those animals. The government should do something, if they cannot look after the animals, then they should close this zoo.

  4. So by reading the reviews I see, as usual, people complaining. If they think the animals are all skinny (not to my opinion) maybe they should have bought the bags of food the lovely thai lady offers at the entrance. since it’s only a 100THB :)About my visit. Large parking, entrance 250THB (100THB for locals). No problem. As you walk in, you start seeing rabbits having fun in open space on the grass. Because the place is huge you can rent a cycling bike for 50THB. and then starts the visit. So just walk around and get lost literally, the best thing to do. There are tons of horses, sheep, cats, birds, bambis, squirrels, pigs and CROCODILES. The best part was when I was looking at the pigs and behind me I see three horses coming to me in complete freedom. and They followed us all the way. There was also pigs eating with ducks. Or ducks eating cat food. great staff really. You can also visit the old thai house which looks like a Chinese, Gothic style. I saw at least 8 staff working hard, feeding all the animals and even the cats which shows that they care. And remember when you see skinny animals, it doesnt mean they don’t feed them. It might also be because it’s god damn hot in HH. They don’t need thick hair like if we were in the mountain.

  5. Cute animals. My little girl loved feeding animals and walking about. Cheap compared with the amount of time you spend there.

  6. Don’t waste time on this place. It is very dirty, the animals are not cared for. I just feel sorry for them. I liked Camel republic much more.

  7. Disgusting, needs shutting down. Don’t waste your money, after paying to enter, you then pay for photo of the one baby tiger tied on a short leash. Rest are farm animals in small cages that need cleaning and need water or short leashes. Honestly can’t stress enough how much it needs closing down

  8. Today my family and I had a bad experience at the Hua Hin Zoo.Upon entering we paid 300 baht per adult and child free because they were 3 years old.The surprise was upon entering to see the state of the animals (hungry, thin) and the abandoned state of the facilities.Old facilities, bar closed, there was no crocodile show.No workers were seen at all on the premises.Only the girl at the ticket office and the girl at the entrance who collects the tickets.I do not recommend this zoo at all and I denounce from here the poor state of the animals and I hope the Hua Hin authorities will remedy it.This zoo is giving very bad publicity for how beautiful is Huan Hin.

  9. If you care about the well being of animals, then avoid this place at all costs. We were shocked at the state of the animals themselves and the prison type enclosures they are kept in. For example the white tigers are in concrete prison cells which were filthy. They also have dual pricing for Thais/foreigners meaning farangs pay more than double the price of Thais. Definitely give this place a miss!

  10. All of the animals are definitely being abused at this zoo. The tigers had chains around their necks and were completely sedated to not make a move. The crocodiles were missing nearly all their teeth, were being dragged by their tales and had not energy within them. The smaller crocs had almost no water in their tiny tanks and were very rarely fed. The bird cages were way too small for them and their couldn’t fly at ALL within them. Many of the lions had a cage all alone and couldn’t socialise with the other lions. The entry fee for tourists/white people was almost triple that of what Thai people had to pay and it is definitely NOT worth it at all.

  11. The disappointment and sadness of this place is hard to describe.Run down, in need of significant maintenance. The loose dogs probably better cared for than the animals.White lion chained on a pedestal.Horse (pony) in a dirt unshaded small enclosure (no water I could see)Two big crocodiles in about eight inches of water in a concrete pen.Chickens in a small bird cage.200bht to get to it300 bht per person to go inThey sell food for animals 100 bht (animals looked like they needed it or were too sad to even ask)Staff probably embarrassed so don’t seem to be anywhereEven our taxi driver seemed embarrassed to be there.
