A beautiful marine attraction with a beach that is over 13km long. The northernmost point of the beach is the giant face mountain. A place that is quite white sand beach clear, blue water and rocks with colorful, unusual shapes. Is a sea view point that can see the beautiful sea floor.Popular tourists come to play water and snorkeling.
Long beach front overs 50 km. More activity for adventure (4wd off-road drive, Sea Kayak , surfboard , Snorkel Diving , Scuba Diving ,ATV rider , Mountain Bike )
This beach is a little difficult to get to but well worth it. You can go by boat or by taking a ride with a 4 wheel drive from the national park. The public road has limited access. ?The beach is pristine and the rock face on the end is fun to explore. One of the most serene beaches I have been to.
We arrived by boat and then walked for a little way through semi jungle to a magnificent beach on the other side. This beach is very clean and unspoilt and has quite large waves for the adventurous and good swimmers. There are toilets and showers nearby. It is worth a trip – very non-touristy and lovely.
An amazing National park, really close to Khao Lak with some great snorkeling on the way. Much less commercialised than the Similan Islands. Fantastic beach and clear water.
Since we are traveling with a 2-year-old (and I don’t like sailing), we investigated the possibility of a shorter trip to Surin or Dimilan Island. It turned out to be a really good idea.We went on a private trip in a long tail boat with the company Wow Andaman, and it was just super good. First we sailed out to a reef, from where we snorkeled for a good hour. There were really many colorful and diverse fish here.Afterwards, we sailed into the mangrove forest, where we were led to the most beautiful chalk-white – and completely isolated – beach. It is not an understatement when I write that there were a maximum of 10 other guests on the kilometer-long beach. If you want a boat and snorkel trip close to Khao Lak, which is not overrun with other tourists, then this is the perfect solution. The price for private tour was 13,000 Baht for 4 adults and one child. Very reasonable two well worth the money.
