  1. I go to this beach at least once a day to enjoy swimming and walking both in my natural state. The water is warm and at low tide the beach is quite wide.

  2. About 30km from downtown Chantaburi, getting here can be a bit pricey if travelling alone. There is no regular transpo from town to this beach area so you got to hail a song taew for 350 to 500 baht for one way trip. But once you are here, you can have the beach all to yourself especially during the weekdays. It is a subdued version of the popular beaches in Thailand…very quiet. You can count the number of foreign tourists with your fingers. Most visitors are families (domestic tourists). Lots of accommodation around the area. Food are cheap, lots of seafood too.

  3. Nice Beach and not so crowded like in other places in Thailand. The surrounding area its beatiful, greenery and pure nature.

  4. The beach is not sloping. Makes children play safe and safe, with public parts People play a lot with the beach area next to various hotels. The beach has a lot of garbage. Saw a sandbag bag The large size has been dumped for quite a long time, many bags along the beach that walk around a kilo of distance.

  5. Great family trip on low key beach. Some great activities nearby – several for free. Not too many foreign tourists. Food ok. Local seafood and costa Rita pizza recommended.

  6. Take note that contacting directly where you wish to stay you get the best prices. The usual booking engines are twice the local direct prices.

  7. Good for the morning merit alms offering. It is peaceful. During the holidays, it might be a little jammed to get in from Route 3. Worth visiting for good seafood!

  8. It’s an amazing beach, with wonderful weather. I have been travel to Chao Lao for a business trip. I loved the resorts next to beaches. Some times when the weather is a bit rough, it’s scary to sweam because of jellyfishes.

  9. Maybe it was a bad time of the year or maybe the fact that there were almost no people due to the COVID pandemic when we visited, but overall it seemed rather desolate and depressing. Not much in the way of attractive sand, although some other photos look like maybe its good at certain times.

  10. Very dirty and trash laden beach, the shore line frontage has run down resorts and derelict buildings, not very enticing for swimming.
