  1. Suan Lamai is a kingdom of fruit on the mountain, in Rayong. When you visit, you can see a lot of trees and ponds. There are buffets which include many fruits, sweets and sticky rice with fried chicken. The most interesting activity is feeding sheep. Suan Lamai has fresh air because of the many trees. The weather was almost hot all day. It made me feel hot and bothered. There are many fruits such as durians, rambutans, mangosteens, cantaloupe, mangos and watermelons. All kinds of fruits are delicious especially durians. In addition, there was sticky rice with mangos and that was delicious too. All the fruits are seasonal fruits so you can’t find any fruits from Suan Lamai. One activity not to miss is feeding sheep. The sheep are cute and kind. You can enter the pen with the sheep and take a photo with them. The price of a ticket at Suan Lamai is four hundred and ninety bath. If you have some questions, you can contract at http://www.facebook.com/Suanlamai or tel 098-7374983, 098-7374984.In my opinion, Suan Lamai is a good place for recreation with the family. It has many things to do and so much food to eat but I think the price is too expensive. It should decrease.

  2. Today I had the chance to go to Suan Lamai. Suan Lamai has many activities for tourists and I would like to review Suan Lamai. Suan Lamai is a tourist attraction in Wangchan district, Rayong province Thailand. Suan Lamai ticket price is 490 Baht for adult, 250 Baht for children (shorter than 120 cm) and free for children shorter than 100 cm. Suan Lamai is a tourist farm. It has many activities such as eating some fruits and foods, feeding the sheep, and it has special activities for each season such as harvesting strawberries in the winter. This garden has a fruit and food buffet. It also has rambutan, durian, mango, fried chicken, sticky rice and so on. You can contact them at 098-737-4983, 098-737-4984 and 098-737-4985. In my opinion, I think this price is expensive for me. But it is the best for people who love to take photos and who love nature. And lastly, one should take a cap from your home because the weather is very hot and sunny.

  3. Suan Lamai is the “Kingdom of fruits on the mountain”, located at Pa Yup Nai, Wang Chan District, Rayong 21210. It has many fresh fruits, activities and garden tours.Suan Lamai has a fruit buffet so you can eat whatever fruit you want, and the fruit is harvested from the Suan Lamai orchid. There are many kinds of fruits such as rambutan, mangosteen, pineapple, lychee, strawberry and the highlight is durian but the availability of some fruit is seasonal, so I suggest that you go in summer.Suan Lamai has beautiful scenery, all around with mountains so you can take a photo and it also has sheep on the hill, they are very cute, so you can feed them grass. The price for this tour was 490 baht per person. In my opinion, 490 baht is a bit expensive for eating fruit, but if you are durian lover it will be worth it. The durian is so creamy and yummy. Overall, it was a good trip for me.

  4. Not only that the GPS was not showing the correct way, but the signs are very small and easily overlooked. But worst of all it did not say it was closed over this long weekend due to a stupid marathon ending up there. Though there were signs about the marathon, but it nowhere said that it ended at the farm and that the farm was closedwaste of time and money.

  5. Apologies to the previous poster..we were some of the runners for the race at Suan Lamai. yes, they should have alerted others on the closure during the weekend, perhaps googling will help??also my first time driving to the place as no main transport/ transfer. what an experience driving through the 30km stretch of Wangchan province in the early morning…where most parts were completely dark…except for the cars in front and back!!! thanks GOD for the safety. yes, we did see the sheep farm and played a bit during the race pack collection. did have a bite at the cafe, and tried the yummy fruits on sat and after the race. not sure which part of the race route fall within Suan Lamai, but it was awesome (the hills climb, the Rock, the temple, rubber plantation, etc) and the scenery and run was fantastic…

  6. I visited the Steakhouse and ordered a chicken salad. I waited and waited and after 30 minutes, still no food.

  7. Foods was tasty and great service. need improvement for steak quality and food safety. Pork chop still rare when they served. Beef dishes also not cook well as we ordered.

  8. A deep drive inland from rayong town. But a pity that the Fruit Orchard was closed. Advisable to call before visiting the fruit orchard. What a disappointment.

  9. Made a halt for a coffee on way back from Rayong to Bangkok. It was a pleasant surprise to be there. Drive to the area was lovely mixture of nature … winding roads, soft sunrays through the trees and clear blue sky. Water body and the farm so beautiful. By the way… Coffee and cake w ere great too ??

  10. First let’s start with the good things about the place. It is lovely placed within a rural area, which is only accessible by car. Take you navigation system with you to find it. The view is really good and you are overlooking the Wang Chan Forest learning center sponsored by PTT. Once you arrive at Suan Lamai you will find a big open parking space to fit a lot of visitors. During our visit the fruit season was over and we knew it. So no surprise there. We did not come for the fruits anyway, but wanted to stay at the caravan park for a night. After a lot of research within our area we found this place and it raved with great reviews on FB. The check in was easy and nothing special. First disappointment was, that we are only allowed to check-in after 3pm, even though it stated 2. Anyhow, we found a nice Pizza Place outside the estate. Once we have been able to get to our caravan the biggest issues started. The caravans are old. Ours was at least 7 years and not well maintained. The beds are not worth to speak about. They charged our 2 little kids an extra THB 1000 per night for a small bunk bed, which did not even fit right. The queen bed was so thin, that you could feel all slats of the slatted frame. The windows could not be opened and partly already broken. The blinds were broken of some of the windows so that you could not open. Other windows had been wrapped from the outside so not visibility there as well. The bathroom smelled like pee, which only became obvious when we closed the door and windows. Actually not a miracle as the bathroom consisted mostly out of plywood repaired areas. The silicone in the shower was already moldy. and part of the floor of the bathroom and caravan was actually only holding because or the lamination and glue. Once we realized all of this it was already too late to leave, as my kids have been too tired. Overall a complete waste of money for THB 3750, but it was the first and last time great reviews on Facebook fooled us.
