We spend 3 days on Koh Larn and Ta Yai beach was our favorite beach. It’s a small but very quiet beach with crystal clear water to enjoy swimming and relaxing.
We visited ta yai beach as we wanted to avoid the business of other locations. It was a bit of a walk from the pier (if you don’t want to use motorbikes) but did deliver once we arrived. The sand is very soft and although the tide was coming in and there were other beach goers there, we had plenty of room. The sea was warm and the views when you swam out were beautiful. You also can’t see the city scape of Pattaya from here which is a bonus for an island retreat feeling. Do note that the ‘restaurant’ seemed to be completely closed and so there wasn’t any option for food or water on the beach and there did seem to be some dogs running around for whatever reason. Although this did seem to be a theme across ko lan.
Loved this beach as it wasn’t too overrun with people also you could climb up the rocks for a great view.
Had sweet memories of this island when I first visit 15 years ago. Unfortunately this island seems to have choosen the money of tourists, so nowadays it’s totally invaded by Chinese. Nowhere to find a quiet corner on this island
This is a very nice, small beach with a really good restaurant and bar. The restaurant also provides comfortable deck chairs with umbrellas. They have a shower available for fifty baht. It’s an enjoyable place to spend the day.
North beach very silence and no restaurant can go by bike or minibus.have many rocks.and many sands.
Small beach with nice soft sand , hiking opportunities rock formations to climb. One restaurant with fair prices. Beach chairs are 50B.
My favourite beach in Koh Larn. During my stay it was quite and relaxing. With the single cafe/restaurant on the beach witch provide service to the sun chairs gives it a classy feel. Highly recommend for true island experience.

Small beach with white sand and clear water. Not many people especially compared to Tawaen and Samae beaches.Currently songtaews are not going there,probably due to road being repaired.Motorbike taxi from port costs 40 baht pp.One restaurant serves food and drinks. Sunbeds for 100 baht, but nobody came to ask payment so it was free.After being on all beaches, Ta Yai is my favorite
