The best long beach to walk, easy and fresh water for kids, we are always spend our weekend here as quite and not to much wave for our little girl.
Uncrowned and friendly. Great beach shacks serving food and drink. Perfect place to relax, swim and chill out. Try Boom Boom beach bar. Friendly people and great food.
This beach is spectacular, it is huge you could walk for miles along the soft white sand. The water is crystal clear and the beach gently slopes into the water, the waves at time can be a bit choppy, but also especially in the afternoons it’s calmer. Because the beach is that big you feel like it’s only you in the water, a good place to let all your worries fade away! The beach has coloured flags up to help you decide if you want to swim. At the far end of the beach their are a lot of surfers which are fun to watch. The landscape and scenery of the beach is beautiful it’s just a stunning place, definitely worth a visit
We stayed at a hotel on this beach and everyday we walked a little bit in the evening.It stretches for what seems miles each way!It could do with a bit of a tidy up as wasn’t the cleanest beach we saw.The cape to the right is rugged with large rocks visible with the low tide.Fisherman can be seen with large nets catching their daily fish.It is lovely when the sun sets as the reflection glistens off the rocks making it very picturesque.Not crowded when we were there and you could walk a while without seeing a single soul.
What a beautiful beach this would have been back before the sunami in 2004 the coral reefs have all died and stand like a graveyard over 6 ft tall …the beach goes on for ever and when the tide is out you can walk for miles…before you get to the dead coral it looks as if it is a white sand beach but as you get closer you can see the devastation that the 2004 sunami caused
Very beautiful beach. Clear water and white sand It’s a bit far from main road. (I recommend you to find rent a car or a motorbike to travel around this area)
Of all the beaches I have seen in Khao Lak, this is one of the best. The tide goes out a long way leaving a lovely long stretch of sand, unlike some of the shorter steeper beaches that are have only a very small area of sand before the sea. There is a good selection of bars and activities if you want them and it is not too busy due to the relatively remote location.
Beaufiful wide beach with white sand and clear warm water! One of the best i ever seen. Perfect for sunrise jogging 🙂 and sunset too.I love it!
We stayed at the Apsara hotel for 3 weeks in December and walked 2km from the hotel each day and then back on the beach.The beach is never crowded, the ocean was warm like a bath with clear water.I loved watching the surfers.It is very clean and the sunsets are out of this world.Go to Memories for a cocktail and dinner, chill and watch the sunset, heavenly.We have stayed at Apsara 4 times and never tire of this beautiful beach
Gorgeous unspoilt beach which stretches for miles in both directions. You can see the misty mountains in the distance. Fantastic area for Birdwatching. The Cape point holds hundreds of waders and egrets at low tide.
