King power must be one of the most expensive so-called duty-free shops in the world. Their prices are shocking, and I would not recommend buying there. I have found items in their duty-free that were cheaper in regular Thailand shops and department stores
Not really a good selection of items that stand out, was hoping for a better selection of whisky plus the pricing was no that much of a savings.
This is good airport clean and tidy but very much like any other airport that I’ve traveled through.
A good experience, neat and clean Airport just besides the sea. Good ambience has a lounge too. Fast immigration. Duty free covers all.
We travelled through BKK and though as we had time at the airport we would get some duty free but much to our surprise there was no other option but King Power. Overpriced and from what I read now a product of jobs for the boys and being friendly with those in power though I am sorry to hear of the owners passing, very sad.

It needs more product variety to interest travelers to shop. Brands are quite limited and some famous duty free skincare products are often sold out.
The so called genuine cow leather belt cost me 1,400 thai baht and i thought is genuine cause is really has heavy smell of leather but after just 5 months of wearing it, the skin surface already start wrinkle, not sure is poor quality of leather or is fake leather! Will never purchase anything from King Power again!!!
Khun Kookkik at Phuket airport pick up counter is very helpful. I bought a lot from GMS and there was a problem with the documents. She was kind enough with a very helpful assistance.
Only 1 rating because there is no zero sold me duty free only to be confiscated at transit point even though they knew I had to transit in Singapore cost me $200
