  1. Our guide, Kûng, is a rock star! She made us feel like this was the most important class she will ever teach. The market tour was so engaging and awesome, and the tuk tuk ride was a blast 🙂 The food we made was some of the best we ate on our trip, and now we know how to make it all properly once we return home! This is truly something we will never forget!

  2. Wonderful adventure with Jay. We went together to the market and bought the products, that we later used for the cooking. We saw a variety of things that we haven’t seen in other markets. It was a wonderful experience especially because of our guide Jay.He was funny patient and a good chef and teacher. The food was delicious especially the sticky rice with mango!

  3. From start to finish, this class was amazing. Our chef/instructor, Nam, took us to the market to pick out some of our ingredients and she was SO sweet and knowledgeable and was able to teach us so many interesting things about the local foods. After that, she helped us prepare 4 delicious dishes. I couldn’t recommend this class more for anyone who is interested in eating/cooking delicious authentic Thai cuisine.

  4. My team did a cooking class with Nam as our team-building event. We expected it to be a good learning class but boy, we did not expect it to be so much fun! Nam is so funny and cracked so much jokes that we were having so much fun while having to “toil away”. We took the afternoon class and so weren’t expecting a market tour so we were really surprised that she took us on a very informative market tour and send us back on Tuk-tuks. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed the food that we cooked, and most importantly, really enjoyed ourselves.

  5. This was such a great class. Loved the market tour and learning how to make all the dishes. Chef Nam is funny and made our time very enjoyable. 10/10 would do again 💜team usa

  6. All is perfect from welcome by Nam at Metro station to last dish made with very accurate advised from the chief. This is the place to go for Thai cooking experience. On top organisation is perfect, beautiful house and legendary Thai smile all the course! You can go this place without any doubt. Thanks to Nam again.

  7. The host is knowledgeable and friendly. I love the market tour when the teacher taught us how to pick the best Thai ingredients. Despite the grilling afternoon heat in the market, I still think the trip to the market is very enjoyable. The cooking in the school’s outside kitchen is fun and even my 11 year old managed to cook everything himself and enjoyed eating his cooking afterwards. A really enjoyable afternoon where I learnt lots about Thai cooking and ingredients.

  8. When traveling in a foreign country, a tour that allows you to easily understand the food culture of the country is a cooking class. So we often sign up for luxurious one-day cooking classes. Then, there is bound to be a gap between classes for tourists and actual food culture. In that point, I would like to recommend this Siamese Cookery House cooking class. The cooking class begins with a tour of the nearby Huay Quang Market. Huay Quang Market is truly a local market, and you can see the local life up close that you have not seen during your tour visit. We bought ingredients to use in cooking at the market during the tour, and it was very good because he explained in detail what ingredients to buy and what the difference was.In the cooking class, students learn the characteristics of ingredients and cooking methods by looking at beautifully displayed ingredients, prepare basic ingredients, and go out to cook. And the dishes what you made are served right away on the table and eat. That are great experience because cooking and gastronomy are connected. After cooking and eating one dish like that, the ingredients of next dish are ready, so you naturally learn, cook, and taste it. There is no boring time.Depending on the approach, this cooking class can be learned very easily and lightly, or on the contrary, it can be learned at a very deep level. Instructors teach professional knowledge in an easy and fun way.If you are interested in cooking and gastronomy, you should definitely visit this cooking class. It’s not expensive either.Morning classes are recommended and breakfast must be skipped. There will be quite a few dishes you will have to eat :)Lastly, I would like to thank the chef Nan, and Nam.

  9. We have done many cooking classes in Thailand, this was easily the best we have done. Fantastic market tour, good class size, high quality ingredients and recipes, amazing meal to devour at course end. Loved it and we will be back. We were 2 adults and 9yo child, she said it was the highlight of her Thailand holiday.

  10. What a great morning learning the ins and outs of Thai cooking with Siamese Cookery House! Goong was an exceptional instructor. She met us at the MRT station and the instruction began. As we walked to the local food market, we learned about the area as well as the traditional types vegetables and spices used in the dishes we would make. A quick TukTuk ride to the school and we prepared our four course meal. Each dish was prepared, eating immediately to enjoy all of the specialties. If you are looking for quality fun instruction, this is the place! As a note – 3% of the class fee is donated for child education/Temples in remote Thailand.

  11. Siamese Cookery House is hands down one of the best experiences I had in Bangkok! This authentic Thai cooking class is nestled in a local area, giving you a true taste of Thai culture. The experience begins with a trip to the market to source fresh ingredients, setting the tone for an immersive culinary adventure. We prepared traditional Thai dishes like Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice—each one more delicious than the last. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and interactive. My only regret? Not buying some of the unique ingredients before leaving Bangkok. Fortunately, the school sent me pictures to help source them at specialty stores back home—such a thoughtful touch! This class was nothing short of amazing and a must-do for anyone who loves Thai food or wants to bring a bit of Thailand back home. Highly recommended!
