  1. Clean and quiet place. Finally met a Masseuse that can cure my backache.I recommend a lady name khru aeh. Nice lady speaks Japanese too.

  2. Heera Thai Massage was recommended to me by a Singaporean friend, as otherwise, I would have probably not found it.Let´s get straight to the pros of this massage place (in my personal opinion)1. It is CLEAN and new (you might say, it should be normal for a massage place to be clean, but I can tell you that in that price range it is often a case of hit and miss. I bumped into the Singaporean owner of Heera when I was there and he told me that cleanliness is the point most of his clients comment on (he said that he hates dirt and even started cleaning the mirror in the bathroom while talking to me).2. It is brand new (I think they only opened a few months ago, which explains why it is so clean. It smells very nice there too.3. It is very affordable, I had a one-hour balm Thai massage which was THB 300, a normal 1-hour Thai massage was THB 250. And I saw on the menu, what I think at that price point is great, a 4-hands massage at THB 600 (will try it next time). I would say this place under promises and over delivers (always better than the other way round, right ?).4. The owner Velson speaks excellent english (he is from Singapore and he has quite a few Singaporean customers, but also from Malaysia and other SEA he said) and we talked about other massage places in his price range, where you often see a group of bored-looking massage staff in front of the shop, chatting, eating and shouting across the road for you to come in. I cannot stand it and it feels like vultures fall over me. He said he totally understands and does not tolerate it with his staff.5. They speak Chinese too in case it is important for some people. The therapists themselves know their job, but do not expect to be able to explain your problems in english, they mostly speak only thai, but if you have any concerns ask the owner to translate it for you.6. They have long opening hours from 3 pm I think until 3 am. Do not try to come in in the early hours (or any hour for that matter) and ask for “Sex massage”. It is not going to happen, but it seems people ask for it and they had to put a sign on the reception desk saying “No sex, no alcohol. Sorry guys, you will not find your luck here, this is strictly for “no extra benefits massage” only.7. I liked the homey and intimate feeling at this place, it was also quiet and the music during the massage was soothing too (I have been to other places, where I thought offering earplugs would have been appropriate). I came on my own, but could also imagine this place to be suitable for a larger family or group of friends as it is not too big. I would recommend to make a booking though. I think you can make online bookings too, but I cannot comment on the efficiency of the online booking system, I just walked in. 8. The therapists are all certified and with one touch on my hip the lady knew already that I was stiff like a stick. I would suggest mention beforehand if you like your massage strong or less strong, so they can assign the right therapist for you (mine was perfect for me, but I could imagine that somebody who likes very strong pressure would have liked it a bit less). The massage clothes provided were all very, very clean. There was a shower too, equally very clean. 9. After the treatment, you get a free green tea too (I wanted it during the foot reflexology and that was fine too). 10. I was arriving via MRT and the stop is Huai Khwang, it is just a 3 minutes walk from there to Heera, but unless you specifically want to go there, you would probably not stumble across the massage shop, as it is tucked away in a small alley off the road. 11. Actually this place is only a 15 minutes leisure stroll along the road (passing by a Mall called “The Street”, which has a great trampoline park called Bounce on the top floor in case you travel with children) or one MRT stop away (stop is called Thailand Cultural Centre) from the night market Rot Fai Ratchada, which is a cool night market (opening at 5 pm from Thursday – Sunday) for going out, eating and having a drink with friends and shopping for bits and pieces (it is also right behind the Esplanade Shopping Mall, so you can combine it with your Mall shopping). And from the same MRT stop you could also walk to the fun “Big dog cafe” if you like encounters with REALLY big and friendly dogs).12. Since the must experience huge weekend only Chatuchak market is on the same MRT line (stop is called Chatuchak Park and it is 5 stops if I recall correctly from Huai Khwang) as the Massage place, you can easily combine that too and believe me after hours walking around Chatuchak you might want all the massage you can get (they have foot massage at Chatuchak too, but no body massage).I only found out later, but Heera is offering a free car pick up from the Rot Fai night market (pick up point, is by the chicken stall (called BBQ Chicken) along the road at the Esplanade Mall entrance. Just call the spa to arrange for them to pick you up.Honestly that kind of service at a massage place in that price range I was very surprised about.Oh and it gets better if after the massage you decide you are fit enough to go for another round of shopping, you can leave your shopping bags there (no charge) and return later to pick them up from the massage shop. I think this is a very thoughtful gesture and probably the way to go if you want to stand out from the many massage places that I saw in that area. What I think could be improved at Heera ?I would be a very picky person, if I would find anything to complain about at that price point, the cleanliness and friendly welcome. It is a no bells and whistles kind of massage place, so if you like your luxury pampering experience and surroundings, this review is not for you, but for what they charge, they in my opinion over deliver compared to many other places I have been to in Bangkok. The only thing they could do, is maybe asking in advance if people like a strong or medium massage (maybe they do, but not in my case), but no big deal, you can request what you need when you make your booking.Heera from what I understood mostly has female therapists, as I was told the vast majority of their male and female clients do prefer female therapists. So if you insist on a male therapist I would advise to call in advance and inquire about it. If a cosy place, location close to public transport and night market, malls, affordable prices (notably for their 4 hands massage), good therapists and above all cleanliness are important to you, I recommend Heera.I would not travel across Bangkok just to come here, but if I am in the neighborhood of the night markets (Rot Fai Ratchada) or travel on the MRT line from Chatuchak weekend market, The Street Mall, Esplanade Mall or stayed in a hotel nearby I would definitely go there in a heartbeat. Enjoy !.

  3. How Many massage centre in bangkok would bother to ensure their toilet always remain sparking clean? There are many massage centre who charged at least 600baht for a 2 hours massage who do not even bother on this but to me it speak alot on how important cleanness is being maintained in this shop as it ultimately boil down to the bed we are lying and the clothes we are changing into too!I am quite amaze that given only 450THB for 2 hours, i am treated with an extremely clean environment accompanied with nice aroma smell. The best worth mentioning is the Masseuse will check on the strength used is correct before carrying out the massage!Their masseuse really know their stuff and after the massage my whole body seems to have totally cleared from all the aches and stiffness.Compare to the the usual massage center which i went previously, It is definitely a Big yes for me to return simply it is worth every penny given the friendly staff, clean environment, nice aroma smell and most importantly masseuse whom know their staff. Keep it up Heera and Team! i will be back VERY Soon!

  4. Our kids live near this massage business so we decided to go try it. IT WAS WONDERFUL. We went 3 times in 6 days. Nice air conditioning and wonderful ladies giving the massages. First they wash your feet, treat you to an hour of heaven for $8US and then finish it off with tea. Would go all the time if I lived there!

  5. Big disappointment:Good: + easy to book online Negative: – Wrong massage: start with Thai massage, not 4 hands oil massage (had to change to another room)- Massage only 50 min, not 60 min, why?- Therapist left during massage to talk to customer- Really bad 4 hands massage (not synchron, etc)Overall really bad experience for 900 THB. Much better massage studios for this price in BKK
