This was the best day of our trip to Thailand! The tour guide learned us so much about the culture and the Elephants could not have been treated better. They walked free, and got fedd a lot of food. When we where there, it was only us and the tour guides. Really authentic experience, and you learn alot of new things. We did the hole day package with food and bambo rafting. I loved it all and I would definitely recommend!!!
We booked this elephant sanctuary to be sure that they were in good hands and well treated. This was definitely the case. The people who work with the elephants are kind to us and the animals. They do their utmost to ensure that we have a good time and that is what we felt. I will return with great pleasure and highly recommend it to those around me.
The tour was great! I had trouble with the site I booked it with, the tour guy canceled and initiated the refund. But still accommodated me so I paid cash. I still had a great time. Worth it.
The trip was so much fun and our tourguide „show“, was a local, who made it unforgetable. He answered every question we hade and showed us how the locals life there.
The trip was excellent with great views and gentle well behaved elephants. It was all made by the leading guide Show who was very amusing, knowledgeable and entertaining, fabulous.

Visiting Doi Inthanon Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the elephants here are loved and cared for in the most ethical and compassionate way. The sanctuary is beautifully nestled in a lush, natural environment, providing the elephants with plenty of space to roam freely.The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their mission. They shared the heartwarming stories of each elephant’s rescue and rehabilitation, helping us understand the importance of ethical tourism and conservation. We were able to feed the elephants, walk alongside them, and even observe them enjoying a mud bath—all on the animals’ terms. No riding, no chains—just a pure connection with these majestic creatures.What stood out the most was the sanctuary’s dedication to sustainability and education. They not only care for the elephants but also work with local communities to promote awareness and responsible practices. Every detail, from the delicious local lunch provided to the small group sizes, ensured a meaningful and personal experience.
Our guide, Show, was excellent. His english was amazing, he was so funny. We did the 2 day overnight in the jungle. He cooked us a lovely dinner and breakfast. It was delicious. He is very knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions about the tribe and his people. This trip was definitely the highlight of thailand for us. We stayed in a cute little cabin/shack with mattress, blankets, pillows. It was so cozy. We went and swam under a waterfall and went on a long hike through the mountains, after spending the whole day with the elephants. Elephants were also very well treated and this place is ethical. BOOK THIS TRIP WITH SHOW!! He is so amazing. 100/10😊
