All in all a good trip, only negative part was not having much time to actually explore the Market before boarding the train, the rest was really good and we had a good time, the location for our meal was fantastic, and we loved feeding the wild monkeys. Thanks.
What a great day. We were a german group. our german speaking guide was great. We see a lot of thinks not the tourist thinks. It was a good combination between walking and going by long tail boat. We see temples, stupa, bakery, hidden inmiddle of small streets, we saw the klongs, made some drop over to visit several places, chines temples and a lot of thinks.A good food for lunch in baan wangling riverside hotel.A great tour.
My son and I did the adventure tour through Bangkok on the 25th of Jan. It was amaising. We saw the city from a different side. I think this is the real Bangkok, which the tourist never will be able to see by himself. Thank you very much for this experience. Last but not least we had a tramendos guide. Her name was Phannee. If you ever come to Bangkok don,t miss this tour. It is worth doing it.

Very nicely and excellent organized day trip. Starting the tour by train, a very authentic large market is visited, before a first floating market can be observed by foot and boat.After lunch with Thai food close to a river a long tail boat brought us to the second large floating market. Multiple different types of activities during one day with a lot of opportunities to connect to Thai people and their daily life. Best thing you can do outside Bangkok.Our guide found a very good balance between guiding us trough and leaving opportunities for making own experiences.
We did the other side of the river tour with a German speaking guide, Khan. As it was a small group and we only spend time on the “untouristy” side of the river it was a total immersion into local culture including local food, transport, temples, shops, parks and living quarters. Of course you can do such tour on your own, but the explanations by the guide about what you see and about Thai culture in general are well worth their money!
We did the Entdecker Bangkok Tour last week. It was praised as a Tour for people that have seen the normal things in Bangkok already. First the good things: Guide was on time, we were a full group of 9 people, the boat ride through the canals was very nice and the food was good and the guide purchased lots of snacks on the way. But what we did not like at all was that the tour was very short, there were tons of breaks and it seemed that the guide run out of things to show us. He talked a lot about himself and walked with us through backstreets without really showing anything interesting. The really bad part was that after one hour break for lunch we had to wait another 45 minutes for the boat as it was delayed. So, for most part of the Tour we just sad around (also had almost an hour break for noodle soup and another break 20 minutes before lunch). Sorry, but I expected a lot more from this Tour…. To expensive for what they offer!
We did the Floating Markets tour and it was nice, programmewise, we saw what was on the schedule, transport was comfortable and the guide was friendly. However it felt a bit like he was bringing us to each stop and releasing us there, without any effort to go into depth at the spots. Arrived on the first market, put us on a boat tour without going with us, arrived at lunch, he didn‘t eat with us, arrived at Amphawa market, he showed us that we can walk 2 different directions and meet in an hour. Like I said it was ok to have some freedom, but it seemed a bit effortless from his side. Was worth it nontheless 🙂
Nice restaurant. Good and fresh food. Something like a quiet island in the busy and creazy town of Bkk. A nice place enjoy candle light dinner …. or just dinner with friends
