This is a great way to see a different side of Bangkok with an informative guide, however, our tour was not exactly what was advertised. We did not venture along the Chaophraya river, nor did we end at the flower market, we instead spent 20 mins at the Artist’s House and then 20 mins at Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratchamongkhon (which is beautiful) and then when the tour ended we were dropped at the nearest metro in a tuktuk. It would have been better to inform us before the start of the trip that this would be the itinerary to avoid disappointment. My mum has low mobility and although the guide was helpful when she had to get in and out of the boat but we did not expect so many stops.
Big buddha is currently under restoration, no fault of hidden bangkok. We was given a choice of what we would like to see, the artist village or big buddha. Great service by all staff, mainly parn who dealt with us personal. Would 100% recommend
An amazing tour! Really well organised and easy- all went so smoothly! Staff were friendly and helpful, the tour was beautiful and great to see! Couldn’t ask for more, you get so much for your money and would highly recommend to anyone! My family were visiting and loved it- I will be doing this again:)
Our
I had an incredibly informative and captivating tour, led by Yoyo, who proved to be a fantastic guide. He not only addressed all of my inquiries but also shared his personal experiences, which added a rich layer of context to the overall experience.
Really enjoyed this tour. Got to see and learn more about old Bangkok, fascinating. Yo-yo our tour guide was really lovely, shared lots of information with us. Great afternoon. Highly recommend!
Not a circular tour so plan your return journey where you are based in advance. Provided with plenty of water but take a hat and a fan.
This was a great time! Really enjoyed the experience on the boat, the guide’s upbeat attitude and quantity of information, and the ability to check out a number of different parts of Bangkok (make sure you have cash for the artists’ village). I echo other reviews that the boat is quite loud so if you’re sitting toward the back it can be pretty hard to hear the guide. But still strongly recommended!
A fantastic couple of hours with Jazzi on the canal. Great fun and very informative – would definitely recommend – the small group made it feel personal
So fun. Our English guide was great and a laugh. We saw parts of Bangkok we would not have seen otherwise. Great communication and appreciated their flexibility
Very good trip made even better by our excellent guide Yoyo who was very informative and engaging. His knowledge was very helpful. Unlike other boats that went past at speed with loud engines our tour was slow paced and easy to hear and ask questions to our guide. His insights into his personal experience of Buddhism and being a monk was very informative and gave a much more personal experience.I will definitely recommend anyone coming to Bangkok to book this trip
Pear was fantastic the boat ride and stops were fun and informative, we would totally recommend pear she made the tour ! We were not sure what to expect but this was a different tour of the well trodden path and something you might not ordinarily see , I’m so glad we did it
