My brother and myself spent several weeks in Phuket, doing loads of diving. We had a fantastic time, diving with Aussie Divers! Thank you Aussie Divers for your hospitality and for running the best dive shop in Thailand, with the most professional guides in Phuket. Our main guide across our weeks of diving, Gong, was always a consummate professional and really provided some of the best diving experiences we have had. We always had a good dive with Gong and got to see some amazing sea life. Honestly your dive guides are why I dive with Aussie Divers. They really are a cut above the rest, and Aurng and Yo are no exception, they provided some great diving as well.I will definitely be back to dive with Aussie Divers again in the future. –Mike and Gabe
This was my second time diving with Aussie-i had three days (9 dives). The crew is amazing as they have been last time (Sep 2024); professional instructors like Zoe, Gong, Bubble, Eamon (many more as good as them); they have been patient, diligent and always watch out for the divers. The gear was prepared in advance, during the whole dive, i felt very secure and they exhibited how a responsible diver would be.The logistics were very smooth, thanks Darren, Ash and the staff in the office, to make the whole process as seamless as possible. The dive shop is 5 minutes walk to the pier, otherwise, the minivan will be arranged to pick u up from where you are(see the suggested area for pick up service)Food on the boat (breakfast and lunch) was yum.
We had an incredible experience diving with Aussie Divers in Thailand. The boat was spacious and well-equipped, with a supportive and patient crew who provided excellent food and made accommodations for dietary needs. Our instructor, Mattia, gave thorough briefings, boosted our confidence, and expertly guided us to fascinating marine life, including sea horses, turtles, eels, and even sharks. Each dive offered amazing sights, and we captured unforgettable moments on camera. Highly recommended for anyone diving in Thailand.
The dive was great. Lots of life and pretty calm water. Franck was great and he was able to show me a small shark and lots of other marine life. My wife wasn’t feeling well and stayed on the boat for the day but she enjoyed being there. The entire crew were great and the fact that it was only twelve of us made the experience even better as we had lots of space on the boat.I honestly have no complaints.
Dear Aussie Diver Crew! I just *had* to take a moment to write this because, well, you all deserve to hear it loud and clear! First off—thank you for an absolutely incredible experience. From Day 1, starting with the epic pool session where I was *fighting for my life* to stay afloat (spoiler: I made it!), Eamonn, my instructor, was there cheering me on like a total rockstar. That was my first clue this was going to be an unforgettable adventure. From breaking down how the BCD works to laughing at even my worst jokes (thank you for that, by the way), the whole vibe was just so warm and fun while still super instructive. On the boat, Tani, Ali, Steven, Guy, Nikki, Mattia, Sak and the rest of the dream team brought so much energy—I couldn’t get enough. And shoutout to the chef—seriously, the food was amazing! My only real worry was overeating and, you know, sinking. ? When we hit open water, Eamonn’s patience and encouragement with our group made it feel like we could conquer the seas. If anyone ever asks me for a recommendation on a dive crew that’s fun, engaging, and all-around brilliant, Aussie Divers is *the* answer, no question! Thanks again for an adventure I’ll hit you up again, if I ever come back! You’re the best!

Had an amazing day of leisure diving at Phi Phi Island and also completed a rescue diving course with Aussie Divers. The entire experience was AMAZING, and I was really impressed by the professionalism of the crew.My instructor, Gong, was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was fun, approachable, and made sure I was well taken care of throughout the course. What stood out to me the most was how seriously they take safety— it really put me at ease and allowed me to fully enjoy the dives.I’ll definitely be back for more diving with Aussie Divers!
Amazing 3 dive day at Phi Phi and Shark Point. The boat is super comfortable with unlimited water, soft drinks, and snacks plus full delicious breakfast and lunch. The staff sets up your gear for each dive, which we are not used to from diving in the Caribbean (definitely a huge perk!). We dove with Mattia in a group of 4, and he pointed out black tip reef sharks, a seahorse, turtles, and cuttlefish for us and even sent us some video clips we captured. The stop to see The Beach was also a nice touch. We felt very comfortable and taken care of all day on the boat, would highly recommend diving with Aussie Divers!
Really don’t know where to start with these guys, they were absolutely exceptional and provided first class customer service throughout. I booked the Open Water course a few months back but a change of plans meant I had to do this earlier than planned. I emailed and asked to change and without hesitation the change was confirmed. The speed at which they reply to any questions and queries is remarkable.My instructor (Guy) I sadly never got to say a proper goodbye, but thank you so much for teaching me over the 3 days and taking me on the dives. You were excellent and will remember this experience for the rest of my life. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I hope to dive with you again at some point. I will be back for sure to do my advanced with you guys at some point. The food on the boat was also good and quickly prepared for us after every dive, the only one small thing I would suggest is to have food items labeled to ensure we know what is what as sometimes you can’t tell which food is what.If you want to get into scuba diving or enhance your skills then these are the people to do it with, they are safe, reliable and informative and will ensure you remain safe at all times.
We gained Advanced Open Water cert. from Aussie Divers Phuket and it’s such an amazing experience and is worth the distance and the wait for us. I would like to praise Kru Gong for his professionalism, passion, expertise and the way he taught and trained us. He is patience, calm and responsible to our group. His priority for us is to be safe and I feel safe and secure during training and diving. Kru Gong made us feel at ease and less anxious for deep diving and has made me conquer the fear of diving (from the past experience).Boat is big and spacious with shower facilities. Food on board was ok (could be better). Boat crews and service are superb.Diving equipment are well maintained.Communication is also excellent. Email may be the best way but Darren is always on top of replying and answer all concerns.Highly recommend for anyone who wants to do scuba diving in Phuket.
I was quite happy with Aussie divers. The dive masters were friendly and they were well equipped and well organized. They were very responsive over email to questions about my visit. They have a nice boat. A really good outfit. The diving itself was good but not great. I went to Racha Yai island. For an hour boat ride, now much coral. Several spots have sunken blocks to create an artificial reef. Eventually, they may look cool, but they mostly look like sunken blocks with barnacles on them. There were the usual suspects of fun tropical fish, and some sea turtles.
Well organised, professional service. Hotel pick up to shop then quick walk/bus to the boat. Staff were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful with carrying gear etc. was never any confusion over what was happening, things explained clearly. Boat was good size, plenty of room on deck for relaxing. Dive deck would get crowded but it was still well organised.
I highly recommend Aussie Divers for anyone seeking to get their open water certification. As a solo traveler, I wanted to complete my certification, and Daren did an excellent job of pairing me with another solo diver of similar age and ability. From the planning stages to the certification process itself, Aussie Divers demonstrated outstanding communication and organization. My instructor, Guy, was exceptional—his professionalism and teaching style made me feel comfortable and confident in the water. At no point did I feel unsafe, and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. I had a fantastic time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.
I completed my Open Water Course at Aussie Divers in three days. The course consisted of a day in the pool, followed by a day with three dives at Racha Yai and Racha Noi, and on the final day, three dives at the Phi Phi Islands and Shark Point. My instructors, Eamonn and Nicky, were outstanding: they made me feel secure and safe, while also turning the theory and explanations into fun and engaging lessons. The entire team at Aussie Divers made the experience enjoyable beyond just the diving itself.On the boats, we were well taken care of with drinks and delicious food. The balance between learning and having fun was perfect. The dive sites were breathtaking, full of marine life. Our instructor shared his knowledge of the underwater world with great enthusiasm and made pictures on the last two dives. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. highly recommend!!
It’s pretty rare that I have no complaints when I review a place, especially a dive centre. Aussie Divers left me struggling to find something to gripe about. They were well organised, everything ran like clockwork. The boat was comfortable, the food was excellent and more than anyone could want to eat on a dive tour. The dive sites were above average (morays, scorpion fish, octopus, barracuda, black tipped reef sharks and all the macro you could wish for). But what made it a really good experience was the dive masters / instructors and the crew. You can tell a lot about a company from the people they recruit and these guys were next-level great. Zoe was the DM with my group and she was especially good (thanks again!). Would dive again with Aussie Divers any time.
