  1. Every food item we tasted was delicious! Nood gave us background and history behind each food item and location. She was very knowledgable. I went with an empty stomach and left feeling stuffed! Amazing backstreet food tour. Thank you Nood and the chef’s tour team.

  2. Food and our guide were both amazing, we tried loads of things we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. Would highly recommend!

  3. Lots of great food and cool alley walks. Even with a shellfish allergy there was plenty to eat. Johnny and Phee were excellent guides.

  4. Oh was awesome! Food was awesome! Well organized, definitely worth the 4 hour experience! Made an overwhelming experience manageable.

  5. This tour was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone! The food was delicious (and very filling). So much food that it was difficult to finish the food toward the end! The tour guide was amazing and helpful, and it was a great way to start my solo trip in Thailand. I got to see an important area of Bangkok, eat the famous foods, and meet people.

  6. Great stops, amazing food, and a fantastic, knowledgeable tour guide (Thong!)! It’s a small group and you get to see so much of the back streets of Chinatown.

  7. My husband and I had a great time being led by and learning from Annie and her sidekick, Champion! We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Bangkok like a local and getting to make new friends with other traveler foodies. Highly recommend this tour and definitely come hungry!

  8. Guide: Chai ⭐️⭐️⭐️(1/2)+ Very knowledgable+ Made sure we were well hydrated. * I wish he bantered with us a bit more, Chai was awesome with a sort of dry humor but he was very straight to the point. Food Tour+ Food was pretty good. + We had some interesting items (durian, soy sauce ice cream). + We had some great people in our group but that varies depending on what group you’re in. + They provided water at every stop if you wanted it. * I was decently full after the second stop, I’m not sure what you want to do with that information. Recommendations: – Bring some imodium (Loperamide) just in case you have any stomach issues – there wasn’t a toilet at every stop. – The description says it but wear comfortable shoes.

  9. Wow! The Backsteets Food Tour of Chinatown in Bangkok is amazing! Just make sure you come hungry! Our guides ( Eng and Mr P) are among 2 of the best guides we have had. They were personable, knowledgeable and professional! Mr P knew what we needed before we did, always watching out for everyone. Eng knows so much and taught us so much about Thai food and Chinatown and Bangkok. We could never have navigated this on our own! They even stayed with us until our Grab driver came and Mr P even taught me something about Grab ( being the first time I used it).

  10. Our guide, Phang was excellent.. she was so full of energy and enthusiasm, it was impossible not to enjoy yourself. She took us to a great variety of places which we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. She was very knowledgeable about the food and the places we went to.

  11. Our tour guide, Johnny, made the experience a great one. His infectious humor and love of Thai food made the tour a lovely experience. Overall, the tour was lower budget than I was expecting and the beginning of the tour was a bit confusing as we were sorted into groups at a nearby restaurant (that we didn’t eat at). Nevertheless, the chance to go to very off the beaten path restaurants was worth the time and we got an authentic view of Bangkok’s Chinatown.

  12. The three of us had a fantastic time. Our guide, Bew, was terrific–knowledgeable, friendly, very accommodating. We were amazed at how much food we were served, and Bew always asked us if we wanted more. I lost count after 15 different dishes, from chive cake to soy sauce ice cream. Some we had never heard of, like the mangosteen fruit. It was all delicious. Working with her runner, she had each next stop all set up with tables and food as soon as we arrived–no small feat in such a crowded area. I would have been hesitant to eat any of the food from these stalls on my own, but felt very confident as part of this tour, and am so glad I didn’t miss it.
