The screen is not HD and 3D is good only in one of 6 movies available. There’s clearly supposed to be wind blowing or some kind of water spray effect which is not working at all.Looks like owner doesn’t care about providing a great experience.
Wonderful XD Theater, The movie and effects wowed me. Everything worked well. The lady cashier was very helpful and very friendly, she helped me to chose the movie and gave me useful advice. I will definitely recommend XD Theatre at Central Festival to all my friends who visit Pattaya. I’m so impressed.
I have been to this cinema many times and never had a bad experience. It is never too busy and you can always get your first choice booked seat. It is beautifully air conditioned inside and compared to UK prices it is great value. It is situated on 7th floor of Central Festival Mall so is easy to get to and well wotth a visit.

Very good theatre, very good prices. Sometimes it is nice to get out of the heat during the day & this is a perfect place to do it.
I have been to this type of cinema in Phuket last month. This time went with girlfriends mother and make her scream =) Cinema is on 7th floor of Central Festival Mall.
This one’s on the 7th floor of central festival mall Pattaya. The show was very thrilling and exciting with all the tilts and movements of the seats, vibrations, spray of water etc to add to the effect. It’s about a 15 minutes show which you’ll thoroughly enjoy. A little expensive however.
While waiting for my movie I had a go on this…it was good value for money and it was an enjoyable ride
