The most amazing experience at Phuket elephant sanctuary! The whole trip was organised so well and they have great communication with you, contacting you the day before to confirm transfers (if you’ve opted for transfer from hotel). The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food they provide is great. There are snacks and beverages available too. The best thing about this sanctuary is how well looked after the elephants are. They educate you on how elephants are treated poorly for tourism and work purposes and tell you each elephants background story as you’re walking around. You’re able to get close to the elephants without touching them so they can roam around as they wish. There were plenty of opportunities to get great photos and see the elephants in their natural environment. Would definitely recommend this sanctuary to anyone looking for an ethical elephant experience in Thailand!
Had great time, everyone was so friendly. We got to see the elephants close by and feed them!! Also lots of snacks and beverages were included.
Everything was great except for the transportation I would recommend arranging your own. My wife and I sat in the van for 30 minutes before the driver finished his cigarettes and decided to drive.
