  1. Was a wonderful experience at the sanctuary with Mr. Sue. Bamboo rafting was amazing 😍 one of the best ever ❤️From taking care of the elephants to feeding them and swimming with them was one of a lifetime kind of experience.

  2. Such a good experience, very ethical and mr Sui is enthusiastic and friendly. 100% recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back.

  3. Great trip- very well organised. Jai was our guide and he spoke very good English and gave us great details about the elephants and we weren’t limited for the time to spend with them. The elephants look as though they are really happy and cared for well and you feel very safe being up close and personal with them. Delicious lunch and good facilities to toilet and shower. Amazing experience would recommend.

  4. This place is incredible! The elephants are so well loved and taken care of. The crew was entertaining and made it so much fun. We were able to feed and bathe the elephants; 10000/10 experience. Would highly recommend! They are so good to the animals and that is what is most important to me

  5. We had an amazing day! We did the full day trip, starting out with a hike in Doi Inthanon National Park with a great waterfall, views of rice fields, and ending at a Hmong Village where we sampled different tea, coffee, and a local lunch. Next we visited the highest point of Thailand, and the Twin Pagoda. Last was the visit to the elephant sanctuary. The elephants seemed truly happy and well cared for. They were very excited to eat and went into the water for a bath on their own. You can tell the staff and caretakers really care about the animals well being. I would thoroughly recommend this trip. Our guide, Rainbow was amazing! The trip was well organized and timely, hotel pickup was very convenient.

  6. This was a most wonderful experience. My family including some of my grandchildren had the opportunity to feed their elephants and take them to the river and help the elephants wash. The plan of this company is the health and welfare of these magnificent elephants. Worth the time to enjoy the experience

  7. Amazing tour!! Highly highly recommend. They take very good care of their elephants and are so respectful. Amazing pad Thai lunch.

  8. Our visit to Camp 1 on November 24, 2024, was nothing short of extraordinary. This sanctuary is a true haven for elephants, where they are treated with the utmost respect and care. The elephants here are not forced to perform or interact; instead, visitors are invited to step into their natural habitat and observe them on their terms. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were clearly passionate and deeply knowledgeable about these incredible animals. Our guide patiently introduced us to each elephant, sharing their names, personalities, and unique behaviors. She also explained how we should interact with them in a way that ensured both our safety and the elephants’ comfort. The highlight of the day was simply watching the elephants roam freely, enjoying the lush surroundings without a care in the world. Knowing they were living as they should—in peace and freedom—was heartwarming and inspiring. The experience was rounded off with a delicious lunch of pad thai and fresh fruit, which was both satisfying and authentic.I cannot recommend this sanctuary enough. It is clear that the team here puts the welfare of the elephants above all else, and visiting this place not only supports their important work but also offers a life-changing perspective on conservation and respect for nature.A visit here is not just an activity; it’s a privilege and an unforgettable journey into the beauty of ethical wildlife care.

  9. Amazing experience. We didn’t do the bamboo river cruise, instead we made elephant medicine and planted some crops for the elephants. This also meant we fed the elephants as a private group the medicine getting some more bonding time with them. Highly recommend, and Sue our guide is a legend.

  10. This place was Excellent and our Instructor SUE was Terrific. He (Sue) was funny and helpful, very knowledgeable about the Elephants and made everything so interesting as he taught us what to do.River rafting afterwards was so Fun. Hands on interacting with the elephants was so educational and excellent experience.

  11. Gorgeous ethical sanctuary, tour guide Su was great and funny and the pad Thai was delicious. Yours weren’t overbooked either so really good interactions with the elephants

  12. It was a great experience with elephants and Mr. Soo. We feeded them and made a medicine for them. We were also bathing and farming

  13. As we strolled down to the riverbank, the promise of an unforgettable encounter hung in the air. Our knowledgeable guides and seasoned mahouts had warned us that these magnificent creatures, though drawn to the water’s edge, might choose to accompany us only as far as they pleased. The gentle giants, with their wisdom-filled eyes, were not to be rushed or coerced into participating in our aquatic antics. And so, we moved at their pace, allowing the elephants to decide when and if they would join us in the cool, clear waters for a refreshing splash. The experience was nothing short of enchanting, a serene dance between humans and elephants, united by the simple joys of life.

  14. We spent an unforgettable day at the elephant sanctuary, where the gentle giants roamed freely and were treated with the utmost kindness and respect. The sanctuary’s commitment to the well-being of the elephants was evident, as they were not subjected to any coercion and thrived in a loving environment. This experience truly opened our hearts to the beautiful bond between humans and these magnificent creatures.
