First of all, I would like to thank the super friendly staff who took a lot of time for us.After we told them that we would go to Kuan Nom Saow Viewpoint (highly recommended) afterwards, they offered us to contact them if we couldn’t get a cab due to the remoteness :-)I would therefore like to take this opportunity to advise everyone to take their own scooter or car to the Elephant camp. As it is really not easy to get a cab. But now to the elephants: You can feed and pet the elephants in the evening just before closing time. You can buy baskets of fruit for about 300 baht. This is incredibly cheap for the experience and really good fun, as the elephants are very greedy and always try to sneak a nibble from the basket if you’re not careful. The staff will also give you a few tips if you are not so confident and are afraid to touch them. We bought two baskets and donated some money at the end because we really enjoyed the experience, the staff made an effort and you could see that the two elephants were doing well 🙂 Definitely a clear recommendation from us and we will definitely be back! Ps: There are also two other packages including a mud bath and washing the and bathing with the elephants 🙂
We had an excellent experience with the elephant today. We were picked up from our hotel and transported to the camp which was approx half an hour from Ao Nang. Plenty of photo opportunities and time to feed the elephant, make some protein balls, wash and then scrub the elephant. It was pouring rain but that didn’t worry us. Make sure to take a change of clothes and a towel. There are change rooms and toilets to dry off and change. Shared some local fruit and were given a bottle of water. Would definitely recommend.
We had such a good time at the sanctuary! We were picked up from our hotel, when we arrived we went for a stroll with one of the elephants and were able to feed him lots of bananas and sugar cane. We made a protein snack for the elephants, fed them, gave them a mud bath and shower. It is family run and evident how much they care about their elephants
10/10 experience. Everyone was so nice and very well taken care of the elephants. Recommend to everyone that wants to take care of them . 🤍
Beautiful show with elephants in the middle of nature. Very professional staff and take great care of elephants
We had the incredible opportunity to walk with two out of three beautiful elephants through the forest. We also got to feed the three elephants, give them mud massages, and wash them off. It was truly an amazing experience! The staff were wonderful, and we really enjoyed our time there.
