At least 3 times per week we head over to Gerry’s for breakfast. Great Quality and Consistency, with probably one of the best sausages in town. A small breakfast, which includes a quality coffee, OJ, Toast with Butter and Marmalade, along with 2 Eggs any Style, Sausage, Bacon,Fried Tomatoes, Fried Potatoes and Onions and Mushrooms. All of this can be had for the princely sum of 130 Baht (May 2017). Keep up the great work guys
A nice local bar with good European and Thai food. The food portions are generous. The staff are friendly and efficient. The bar has TV screens for sport and has a small library of books. It has live music on Wednesdays. It has an outside veranda for smokers BUT unfortunately people are allowed to smoke inside the premises where people are eating and drinking and staff are working. This is awful which is why I only give it 3 stars.
Great wee Irish bar where the food is excellent, quality food at a good price. Great place to spend an evening chatting with the locals especially Dave the owner.Plenty of screens showing whatever sport you desire makes this a great place to go to watch the football and have the craic!
Five of us visited here for an evening meal. The grand kids had a lasagne and sausage and mash which were filling. Dad had a big gammon and chips. Granny had a club sandwich and grand pops was the only one who had thai food – a delicious chicken and cashew nuts. As expected the food came slowly but it was good – a bit pricey for bar food. The meal was rounded off with a game of pool.
Friendly people, great food, grand rooms at a reasonable price. Dave Kinsella, the proprietor, is a good conversationalist, makes everyone welcome, even the odd awkward one. Soi 4 is handy for the beaches and Pattaya city. Rooms are spacious, clean and regularly serviced. Breakfast is a treat, Thai (especially rice, chicken and egg) and British: and the liver and onions is particularly tasty. However, so is the shepherd’s pie – and, most people would find it had to finish the largest, tastiest chicken kiev I’ve ever been served. Good for sport on tv, if that’s your bag – football (not soccer), boxing, rugby, cricket. Treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed
We were going to eat here after a good visit a few years ago with grandkids. However, things have changed and not for the better. First of all, you had to get past an overweight beagle at the entrance and then had to pay 75 baht for a small beer – no big beers on sale!!! We looked at the menu which was limited and again, like the beer, overpriced. We didn’t stay long.
Always enjoy visiting this gem. Open from breakfasts to late night for sport’s games. Friendly staff and owner…….
A lovely establishment. Staff are very welcoming and on the ball. A great place to meet new people and prices are very reasonable. The menus is varied, and food is very good quality so if you’re up this way I highly recommend paying this place a visit
As well as non stop footie and rugby there is also snooker and darts whenever there is a big match on and occasionally cricket. Yes you’ve guessed it: this is an Irish pub combined with a sports bar. Consequently the clientele reflects this- the grandad generation tend to dominate. So it’s a retreat from EDM, Hip hop, techno, banging house etc.But you can fill of 70/80 rock. The beer is cheap at around 70 baht a bottle or sometimes 60’Big Dave’ the owner is usually amiable There is also a free pool table which is kept in good condition.
