I have played all 36 holes of Burapha and rate it up there with the best courses in the Pattaya area. The 4 x 9 holes offer different challengers with the B & D courses my favourite s being a bit tougher than the others. The layout is good, carts allowed on the fairways and the caddies quite good. The nahm (water) hazards are not too prevalent as in a lot of the other Thai courses, but always check with your caddie. The rough is murder so always go for the safe option as being caught in it will leave you in total despair.Locker rooms are OK but the restaurant staff need a “Jazz up” with the service.
Staff were very nice (for that 2 stars). Room was clean, except for the cockroaches (yes there was more than 1) and a broken sink that did not drain. Was too tired to complain to the desk when I arrived at 10.30 pm. Should have known this place was an ‘also-ran’. The town has many better hotels at cheaper price, sacrifice 15 min driving and you’ll thank yourself.
So this was course 1 of 5 for my trip with a group to Thailand on a golfing excursion. this course was lovely. the caddies were pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable. The course was a typical resort course layout but like a lot from a few years ago, nothing inspiring. It is hard to review a course and clubhouse that has nothing wrong but it needs a refresh. So then we made our way back to the club house, this was small, accommodating with good food, cold beer. Again, nothing wrong but. There is some good history surrounding this course, they should try and make more of it.
A very nice golf & country club comprising of 2 golf courses (4 Nines) Tennis, large swimming pool with a small but well stocked shop.Very nice clubhouse with some very nice food
Played this course today, it actually has 4 nine hole courses. We played American Wood, which was in a very poor state, the fairways were virtually non existent, just lots of long grass,.The Dunes nine, was better, although there were dogs roaming around on the course, still not that good though.Club facilities were poor, compared to other courses, such as Laem Chabang, which is close by, which is a magnificent course, with excellent facilities.
I like the course and it’s layout. When we played, it was in good shape and well maintained. The pace of play was good and the course is very interesting. I personally like B And D the most, but none of the other two courses is not challenging. The caddies are all good and have a lot of experience. The clubhouse and wardrobe are old and need renovation. Food is good and enjoyable.
A beautiful golf course in the countryside which is about a 30 minute ride north of Pattaya. The place is open to the public and the fees are average for the area. The club house unfortunately is outdated with no upgrading since it was built. Food in the restaurant is a disappointment.
The course has 36 holes , we played at A-B course. Course is nice . This weekend we were paying was not so crowded.
My last round before flying back to London. Played A and B. Great experience. Best course I have played here. Fairways and greens all in great condition. Helpful, experienced caddie. Great experience. Good value
Decent course with very friendly caddies. Online price for follower fee was 300 baht but they charged me 500. Not a lot of drink stops on course A and B with most of them locked and abandoned
