The massage itself was… good. It was very hard, which maybe my fault as i asked for medium-hard and probably should have thought about that since im sure that means something else for thais than for europeans. The masseuse was profesional and nice but didnt speak english which made it harder to explain that even though i asked for mediumhard it was TOO hard.I was sore for days after.That being said, everything else was so goddamn perfect- the style, the rooms, the welcome etc etc. Imagine perfection : thats this spa. Maybe with another treatment i would also be on 5 stars for the treatment itself.
Situated in the most tasteful and hippest district of Bangkok, Calm Spa is surprisingly good.We didn’t book in advance but luckily we enjoyed a two hours massage session here.We tried the massage with the hot clay pot with Himalaya rock salts inside , and it was so comfortable and stress releasing. The technique of the massager was good, the environment is nicely decorated, the style likes HAY from Denmark, which quite stand out from most of the spa in Thailand.After the treatment , the staff served us with the snacks and also a great surprise! We were enjoyed everything here! Finally , the neighborhood is so chill and tasteful restaurant abounds and worth spending one day in Calm Spa and The area nearby. I have already pencil down this SPA and will return soon…
I loved, loved, loved Calm Spa – the service was excellent. The massage was just what I needed (Signature massage). She fixed my back and I felt that my back was much less tense for at least a week after. The teas are yummy and they give you little snacks after your massage. Would not recommend buying the facial oils – they broke me out pretty badly. But otherwise, Calm Spa is absolutely worth it for a little treat-yo-self massage.
Visited with my friends and my husband. Got a facial and a massage. Tinh organised pick up from our hotel and was extremely hospitable. It was truly an amazing experience! We loved it and wish we had more time to get other treatments…definitely visit next time !! Worth the effort to find this place!!
The visit was arranged by email the day before. We were picked up at our hotel on time and taken to a house just outside Hoi An with a herb garden. The area was rice paddies. The owner greeted us with herb tea then we had a countryside package. The girls were very good and were very observant of areas to be gentle when massaging as I had had recent leg surgery. The duck salad for lunch was delicious and beautifully presented. A great experience
This is our favourite spa place in Bangkok. We used to live in Ari and were so thrilled when Calm Spa opened up a couple of years ago. We went there regularly when we lived here and of course had to come back now when we are on holiday.The masseuses are extremely good and friendly, the best we ever had in Bangkok. The signature massage is wonderful. Reception staff are super friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very modern and elegant. We love the complimentary tea and sweets after the massage.
I’ve visited here 3 times already, everything was full of surprises and the staffs/therapists were super thoughtful and professional. The technique is slightly different than other spas where I’ve been, they took care of every parts and ensure your body was reacting comfortably. If you would like to experience a spa is full of natural modern design and great service, I recommended you, it will be worth it without doubts.
Booking via the phone cannot match when arriving. Staff is so rude and taking care foreigners before customer in queue. Ask to the manager who make the reservation ,don’t have an explanation and apologize
Nice place for a massage, higher end place so a bit pricey but worth it, often booked up on weekend so may need to book ahead.
Came to Calm Spa for the first time in 2019 and honestly had a lovely time – so much so we decided to come back this year, 5 years later! However, I was very disappointed with the communication with the spa. It was extremely rude and dismissive. I messaged them on IG to make a booking and they were incredibly short with me when I asked them questions about the booking. Also, on the day of the treatment, they told me they would shorten the treatment because we were running a few minutes late, even though I gave them advanced notice and there was clearly no other appointment after us (they claimed they were busy but this was not the case as far as we saw) Their policies/inflexibility and overall attitude towards customer service soured the entire experience. I don’t have much to say about the actual spa experience – it was fine.
