Had a great time on the Sunday night I came even though I came alone. I’m all by myself in Thailand; that should tell you enough about me. You know, I must be completely fried because I don’t remember what I ate here. I do remember thinking the menu was a bit limited and surprised there was only a couple of Thai dishes on it. Strange what I remember and what I don’t. What I also do remember were those bxdxss Long Island Ice Teas being acutely commendable. They tasted great and did the trick – very well I might add. And Ped and Tor too – the two musicians on stage – did the trick for everyone. If these guys ain’t rich and famous here in Thailand then they’re intensely underated. They know what the xuxx they’re doing that’s for sure. Everyone was rocking tonight: customers, staff, and there was even this little kid dancing around, banging his hands on things. These guys were throwing down some awesome blues and got rockish towards the end of the evening. Now I’m sure I’m not sure of anything, but I’m sure I like listening to these guys’ guitars. I think they’re kind of house musicians and play here all time. Seems to be two maybe three clubs in town where these guys and few others rotate playing at. And I’m also sure I’m not sure about what to say about Woodstock Hua HIn itself. They do have seemingly have a large expatriate group of guys that are regulars – some of them being pretty good musicians themselves. Kind of an open mike – open guitar night where these guys would jump in with Ped and Tor and play and sing and whatever. And wouldn’t call the crowd cliquish either. One guy invited me to his table towards the end of the evening. Well he might have some other motives as he kind of asked me like what my status is here in Hua Hin (live here, visiting, etc), and the conversation turned to real estate fairly quick. Maybe he wants to sell me an old condo or something. I really don’t know. What I do know is I’m coming back to this place. I got an Airbnb for month at Marvest, and I’m thinking about getting a retirement visa to stay here – you know Hua Hin. I’m really feeling it here. That’s my status dude. Get to know me Woodstock Hua Hin; I’m gonna be a regular.
Where to start. Our last night in Hua Hin. Wanted a memorable night and if dancing were in there too, all would be perfect.And it was.Our service was wonderful. Excellent cocktails. The music was excellent. Damn. I’m in my 60’s and forgot the band….something Soul. Really great though.People were dancing.It was all so so good.Go there.
The southern part of the city offers a lot of fine hotels at good prices,around rd 65 – 75, in addition to a fantastic shopping center. For me, it will be a reunion in 2025.If you are into music, peace and love, reggae, then visit a small unique music place WOODSTOCK in rd 88. Can be seen on fb. Recommendable. (note it is not the rather noisy food square close by)
One of the best places for live music. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent music. The owner often plays there as well.
