  1. This is a real taste of Thailand for Thais. A noisy, bustling busy market selling fruit, vegetables, seafood, meat, clothes and take-aways all at stunningly low prices.Much of the produce is of excellent quality – e.g. wonderful mangoes picked from the tree that morning. Mouth watering and at prices that amazed me e.g. mangoes at 40 to 70 baht a kilo – half or a quarter of what you pay in Bangkok.Because this is Hua Hin most stall holders speak English and quite well.Recommend!

  2. Excellent variety of cook and fresh foods available, every day of week. Fresh seafood catch, as well as curries, chicken and pork dishes. Extremely inexpensive usually buy dinners already made. Fresh fruits and vegetables and well as drinks available also.

  3. My daughter and I spent four nights in Hua Hin at an efficiency condo just a few minutes walk from Huana market. The first night (Sunday) we went to the Cicada market and after that we frequented the Huana market every day- sometimes twice- as it is open from 2 to 8 pm. The fresh fried banana treats and glutinous rice sweets were to die for. We also sampled a big variety of Thai dishes served up in plastic bags or skewered on sticks to take back to our condo for 20 to 30 Baht a serving, as well as a large variety of fresh fruit. Had we wanted to cook (but why, when all those lovely dishes were there, just waiting to be tasted?) we could have purchased wonderful looking fresh shrimp, crab, and a whole slew of vegetables and spices. As I was returning to Bangladesh, the evening before we left for Bangkok I stocked up on fresh red, green and panang curry pastes (again, served up in front of me into a plastic bag), and ingredients I would need to recreate my favorite dishes (galangal, lemon grass and lime leaves). As well as food, we found clothing items and household items such as a tea strainer and a zip bag for my daughter to use as a carry on for the trip home. We are big fans of local markets, having lived in Asia for many years, and Huana didn’t disappoint!

  4. Come here after 4PM when the locals come to buy their dinner. Have them prepare a take away mango salad, buy some coconut based sweets, curries or fruit. Lots of freshly prepared food as well. Our favorite market in Hua Hin

  5. I liked this market for its many fresh seafood stalls, not a wet market. Meats were also available. There were very many produce stands, some quite varied and others that specialized more. There were veggies I hadn’t seen before. I do so wish to buy but it is impractical. There are also clothing and misc vendors. The prepared food carts and tables offered really affordable nibbles. The sushi was notable for variety, price and volume being made right there. Not the highest cost pieces of fish, but what fun! Yes, frogs. Eggs had a nice display with different size eggs and their prices per 25 eggs. 100 Baht about USD 3.30The other aspect that differs here is the ease of getting to this market if you live in Hua Hin. You can drive right up and park in the adjacent lot. This holds true for deliveries as well, it’s efficient so it draws from a wider pool. More fresh stuff, that is the focus here, but not exclusively.

  6. Gooog markettttttt local veggggg feel gooood . Have many things. Good time to do dinner at home with friends.555555555

  7. Quite a number of stalls with either fruit and fresh meat. The mango and sticky rice was delicious. The address on TripAdvisor is incorrect. The correct address is on Google and about 6km from Hua Hin beach.
