  1. This golf course gets mixed up with the other course in Bangkok named “Royal Gems Golf Course”. So i went about to include this correct course into Tripadvisor. When people mention the Augusta back 9 replica and the famous 9 holes from different courses, including one of the photo which is like the Players Championship signature par 3, this is the course we are referring to. The pictures I uploaded suggest glimpse of Augusta in it, though not perfect and no Magnolia trees around, I believe this is the closest we could get to playing an Augusta lookalike in Asia.Back to the review – being one of the more luxurious and high priced course in bangkok, it is not exclusive. During our tee-off, we could see flights of tourist golfers playing this course on a strict tee-time sheet. Entire course was well-maintained. Fairways were great. Nice scenery and lookalike holes from Oakmont, Winged Foot, TPC Sawgrass, St Andrews, Royal Toons with the Augusta back 9 gives the golfer an unforgettable experience. The clubhouse was constructed to be very much “Retro” kinda feel and does not look like it could accommodate a tournament loads of people, but nice and sophisticated enough to give golfers a luxurious feel. All 18 holes were considered short if playing on the whites as reflected with the low slope and course rating on the score card. Good golfers may consider the blues or blacks for a good challenge. Most memorable holes were the TPC sawgrass player championship signature par 3 (which i dump 1 in the water and couldn’t hit another as behind is catching up), the St Andrews Old Course Signature hole, 1 of the Augusta back 9 hole (regularly featured on TV) with a sloping fairway and had to hit across the river stream onto the green. All in all, this is a good course and must play when one have the budget and time in Bangkok.

  2. The Tourism Authority of Thailand, Singapore office, has been organising annual golf tournaments to get golfers to play in Thailand. For 2019, the Amazing Thailand Golf Challenge was organized from May 5-9 2019. We played 2 social games at Rajpruek Golf Club and Alpine Golf Club. The tournament itself was held at the world famous The Royal Gems Golf City.l understand the course design are replicas of 18 of the world’s top golf holes. The course, as expected, was well maintained. The caddies were very knowledgeable and friendly.I was among a group of 20 golfers from a group dubbed Golf4Fun. We enjoyed the challenge very much.Take this opportunity to thank the organising team for a job well done.

  3. Got a chance to play this beautiful course on Friday 12/17. We had 2 foursomes that was set up by my cousin. We had to rent clubs (Nike but not complete set). Course: fantastic course and conditions were great. Greens were probably 9-10 and that is consider fast. I loved the layout and how many of the holes were famous golf course replica. The back 9 mimicking Augusta was very nice. Service: caddy service was awesome. Very polite. They did not use range finder so yardage was a tad off. There are beverage stations throughout. Pace of play was a tad slow. Over 5 hrs. Lots of wait on par 3. Value: I think it was a decent value. We paid approx $220 not including $12 for caddy. All in all, I would recommend this course.

  4. Loved the course. Only negative was unless you a golf tragic was hard to recognize the holes. Signs wpuld have been good. All good tho
