  1. I went to visit the Pathum Thani Lotus museum, located out in the open, and was totally surprised by the number of different species of lilies and lotuses. They boasts approx 150 different species. How do they contain so many species? Well, they plant them in a big lake, and in lots and lots of pots containing different species. What a clever idea! They open from 08.30 to 1700hrs Mon to Fri. Not sure about the weekend, I would say they would be open same hours. Go and visit!

  2. The first time I arrived at the Lotus Museum. I was immediately amazed when I saw the building of the unique Lotus Museum like the office of The Avenger. the desgin of the building is good so it is interesting to visit many people like me 555 (laughing Thailand). When I entered inside the Museum there were many pictures that contained information about lotus. I read one by one from the picture, the content and images shown were very informative and interesting to read. then I walked in the museum area, there was a garden planted with various species of lotus. there I can see the beauty of the lotus directly, and I don’t forget to take some good photos. at first I didn’t know about lotus plants, because in my country lotus plants are not very popular. new in Thailand I know how beautiful lotus flowers that sometimes have several color combinations … I am very happy to be able to visit the Lotus Museum.
