My wife and I stayed at AAH in Aug’15. When I got back from training and she was hungry and waiting for me at the hotel, we thought it was best to fill our tummies close by. Went down to Zeer Rangsit. Quite a few choices – local Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and fast food. We tried something called fish paste noodles soup. It was really nice. Talking to my colleagues who also stayed in AAH, they have also tried the same dish and like it too.Zeer Rangsit is a haven to find computer, electronics and AV components and parts. For more mainstream shopping, I recommend Future Park a short distance away.
You are looking for anything related to computers, car accessories, photo, TV, video and phones: This is the place ! Out of the normal tourist routes and a little difficult to reach by car but definitively worth to try.Recently renovated food court (cheap and tasty), hundreds of shops or shall we say booths with everything you can imagine for the above mentioned matters. Not far from Future park Rangsit which by the way you can forget.
Visited Zeer shopping mall yesterday for the first time in years. When we were last here, the mall was run down scruffy and only had shops on a couple of floors. What a turn around. The mall has now been refurbished and is as bright and shiny as a new penny. They specialize in IT, so if you require anything to do with computers mobile phones, TV’s, video’s Hi-fi equipment or car accessories this is the place to come. Need a new or secondhand laptop? This is the place. They also have a wide range of clothing, a Tops supermarket and a good number of restaurants and fast food outlets. There is also an old style electrical components shop where you can find almost anything to do with electronics.Anyway, we went there for a meal, and, were not disappointed, food was good, service good and prices were very reasonable. We only made a cursory tour of the building, didn’t see everything, but what we did see was pretty good. We recommend a visit to Zeer if you are in the area especially if you need software or hardware for a computer. Even if you don’t it’s still worth a look.
Three floors of IT. Prices can vary greatly. Always check online prices and negotiate, at least at the smaller shops. Be prepared for a considerable tourist (Farang) price. I’ve sometimes been told a price twice the going rate. Just turn and walk away. There are lots of other shops.
Its the words biggest IT mall. One day is simply not enough to see it all. Is it a spare part or repair for your smartphone, PC or laptop or buy a new one, You can find it in Zeer Rangsit. And if that is still not enough, also the audio addict finds here what he needs. There is a shop who sells more than 50 kinds of speaker cables, to give only one example. Finding electronic spare parts and meassering or other tools, Zeer is the place to go. That is have numerous restaurants, coffeeshops, a Tops supermarket and connected with Zeer there is outlet shopping mall and a whole sale clothes market
Stayed at the Asia Airport Hotel located above the mall. Lots of phone and electronic stores to browse. Also has a few chain restaurants and a night market located out the front. Also has a Tops supermarket and major banks
I was accosted in one of my photo sessions. I came with my camera as I always did many times. After 4 shots a guard on the premises in front of the mall asked me not to take photos. I was surprised. I told him that I have been doing this now and then. I also explained that the place has improved since it used to be flooded during the monsoon and traffic was stuck for hours.Politely, I deleted my photos. I explained that unless there is a post or notice showing prohibition, photos could be taken. But they do not do this. Obviously, when a prohibition is posted, it might scare people away.I hope that the owner will consider this.
I have been to Thailand perhaps 60 times. In my opinion, the night food market at the humble Zeer Rangsit Mall has the most delicious and the widest variety of foods in all of Thailand (though the Ton Taan night market in Khon Kaen is more charming).
