The elephants were lovely, as were the surroundings. Interactive and educational experience. good food.
This elephant sanctuary is fantastic! Unlike other elephant parks, this one does not control the elephants. They only have a designated mahout from the Karen village that grew up around the elephants. They walk freely and we follow them through the jungle. We watched them eat (they love bamboo the most 🙂 ). Then when we got the river, we helped them to bathe and watched them play. They have 4 babies as well!!! It’s a great time for families and even kids. The guides are amazing as well. We had yummy thai food for lunch. This is definitely worth a visit if youre wanting to experience a day in the life of an elephant.
absolutely loved this place! the guides were great and seemed to really care about the elephants and their wellbeing. The elephants were free to roam and it felt like a very authentic experience. Traditional Thai food was served for lunch, which was excellent. I highly recommend this place!
We had a great time. 5 stars. My kids got an experience greater than we asked for. Seeing and being exposed to “wild life” made our trip. Amazing experience..
