Was exploring the Lamai area when my friend and I chanced upon this gem of a place. The owner, Nuch, is one of the most passionate persons I’ve met when it comes to sharing about her country’s wines! We spent 2 hours in the shop just listening to Nuch’s stories and learning about Thailand’s wine culture (did you know that apart from grapes, mangosteens also produce their own tannins?!). As it was our first time hearing about the fruit wines (mangosteen, lychee, mango, passionfruit…) she even let us try them! We brought home as many bottles as our limit would allow. Please stop by Thai Winery House if you’re in the area. Not just for the yummy wines, but also to meet Nuch in person and to experience her love and passion towards what she does! I know I’ll definitely be returning in the near future!
We chanced upon this store, walked in and were charmed by the passionate owner, Nuch. She sells a wide variety of wines, but what was most intriguing was the fact there are vineyards and wine produced from Thailand. She shared us the speciality fruit wines (Magosteen, passion fruit, lychee, mango, coconut) and even told us how each can pair well with various Thai foods! We had a chance to sample them and bought a few bottles home. Absolutely lovely experience hearing her share her passion for food and wine, and meeting her and her little dog, Panda. She hopes do do wine food tours in the future! Can’t wait to be back and try that!
Thai wine tasting & Cheese board is available. Feel free to make a reservation for an amazing experience with wine from Thailand
This was such a fun and unexpected experience in Koh Samui. The owner was an incredible host, and taught us a lot about how Thailand came to produce wine and how she came to owning a wine shop and hosting tastings. The wine was delicious, but the hospitality is what really made this experience special. If you like your wine (or even if you don’t) I 100% recommend this unique experience!
We attended a family wine tasting event in the store in Lamai and had a super evening. The owner was friendly, fun, knowledgeable and passionate about her wines and made the evening both informative and fun. Surprised to learn that Thailand produces its own wine that is very drinkable. A really good and unusual evening sampling several wines whilst learning about the industry.
