  1. This is my first time ever having to write a review on tripadvisor but I feel like it’s completely necessary. I’ve had plenty of bad massages in Thailand but the experience at Lek massage near holiday inn trumps them all. The staff here isn’t experienced; I can understand if a staff is inexperienced but the staff here are pure lazy and shockingly rude.Arrived at place at 10.40pm, it closes at 12am. My Boyfriend and I were told that we would have to wait 20 minutes for our massage. We were asked to sit at the foot massage area and while we were waiting we received plenty of dirty — YES. DIRTY stares from the masseuse and we assumed that it was because we came in near closing time. We tried to give them benefit of doubt because maybe they were tired after a long day and we even contemplated leaving but since we already paid for the massage, we thought might as well just stay. ONLY at 11.05pm were we brought to the foot washing area. After that we were brought to our rooms and my boyfriends massage began at 11.10pm but my masseuse was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. I waited a good 5 minutes for her and she finally appeared at 11.15pm. She then proceeded to take her time to set up and kept fiddling with the fan in the room and chatting with the other masseuses. By then I was getting pretty pissed off because it was completely unprofessional of her to come late yet she dared take her own sweet time. She started the massage at 11.18pm. Thought the massage she was chatting with her friends and giggling and it was getting incredibly distracting and annoying. For the first 10 minutes the massage technique was ok but after that she started to slack off. All she did was use both her arms and press down on my back and legs and stay there for a solid 30 seconds before shifting them upwards and downwards. THAT IS ALL. That was the WHOLE MASSAGE. She didn’t try to knead me or twist my body or anything like an actual Thai massage. For the rest of the duration that’s all she did. I’ve been to plenty of Thai massages and had even been to 2 the day before and while I understand their massage techniques may vary, they don’t just press down onto you and move every 30 seconds; there was AT LEAST some movement. At one point of time, she was practically lying on my back and she was barely even adding pressure anymore, I was literally paying money to be a cushion. I tried to adjust myself because it was getting uncomfortable and she suddenly shoved my head back into the pillow and made an annoyed sound. I was beyond shocked. First you barely massage and then you won’t let me adjust myself? Also, for someone who had no energy to massage me, she had PLENTY of energy when she was moving me around the mattress and she shoved me till it hurt. I was tempted to voice out and tell her to stop but I didn’t want to create a scene, especially when there were 3 other people in the room with me. Finally at around 11.55pm my boyfriends masseuse started to end the massage and in my head I was like “don’t you dare end my massage now you came in almost 10 minutes late” and no surprise, she ended it when she saw my boyfriends masseuse end it. So that pretty much means I had a 40 minutes “massage” session. After the massage we were tempted to complain to the lady boss but decided against it because we read some similar reviews that showed that she wouldn’t do anth about it and would side with her staff. Absolutely horrifying. I can close one eye for an experienced masseuse but for a lazy one with a terrible attitude? No way. For anyone in the area who’s considering going here for a massage, I beg that you don’t waste your precious money unless you want to get disappointed. I dont know what their other outlets are like but I hope no one will experience anth as bad as my experience.

  2. I hate to write bad reviews and I hope the young gentleman who played with my feet for 30 minutes gets better at his craft. From the moment I started to get my feet washed, i knew it was gonna be a bummer. The young man giving me a foot massage simply had no idea what he was doing. not an ounce of intuition or engagement. I’m upset that the chain Lek doesn’t have a better way of training the lesser skilled or getting rid of them. i did, however have a decent foot massage a few weeks earlier which I would give a 6 on a 1-10 scale.

  3. if you just want to try / relax, it”s okay. If you are asking for something very professional. This might not for you.

  4. I normally don’t like to leave reviews that are bad, but I truly had one of the worst massages I’ve ever had here. Living close by to this massage spot, I came twice during my time in Bangkok. The first time, I got a 1 hour massage by a slightly older woman and it was great. Thinking this was a good spot, I decided to come back and do a more expensive package.Unfortunately, my second massage was from a younger woman, and was one of the worst massages I’ve ever had in my life. I seriously doubt she has had any training. I got a Thai massage and an oil massage, and can only describe what happened as:- Poking randomly at my back- Massaging into my BONES (this hurt a lot)- Pinching randomly at flesh and muscleIt felt like a blind person was trying to learn how to play the accordion on my back with extremely high pressure.I get lots of massages and know what they’re supposed to feel like. This was nothing close at all to one. I even think my friends back home would have done a better job – at a certain point I thought she was doing it on purpose to hurt me. I was almost in tears and considered at multiple points to leave the massage – something that has never happened before. If you have a good masseuse, it’s a regular massage joint, but I needed to write this to share that if you get a bad masseuse, run away now.

  5. Conveniently located opposite backdoor of Novotel Siam SquareAfter changed into in-house slipper, masseuse washed my feet with scrub soap.Usher to 2nd floor and changed into in-house shirt n pant. Had a 90mins Thai Body massage and the masseuse attending me was skilful. The one attending my mum was a bit soft (probably worried about her age) which mum corrected her. After that, mum said was good.Overall, has a good massage. Slightly more expensive than Na Siam but at least they started the time after we changed and gave us a full 90mins.

  6. Excellent massages provided at the outlet at Sukhumvit soi 24. We went for foot massages , facials, body massage, nail services .

  7. I’m surprised at the low rating of this place, as my massages here have always been spot on. In Feb–March ’22 I came here probably every other day and never had a complaint. Today I was happy to return. I’ve had a couple of bad massages on this trip and wasn’t very hopeful, but the masseuse was incredibly good and I could fully relax. The space is spotless and smells nice, and I like the background music. Price was also very reasonable. What’s not to love?

  8. The masseuse I had was very nice- friendly and professional but overall quite an unpleasant experience. The reception staff are rude and don’t even look at you- especially the lady with the bleached hair. The entrance looks quite nice but the massage rooms are very basic- three beds in one tiny room. Initially the wanted to stick me between two other customers but I insisted and got a different room which had nobody there. The massage was quite good but the noise from the construction next door spoiled it. They charge way more than most of the massage places nearby- you can get a better and cheaper experience elsewhere.

  9. Higher in price perhaps due to their location in Sukhumvit. I did a full set medi/pedi while hubby did aroma oil & Thai massage.. overall experience, my manicurist was rushing through & she cut my pinky finger, & thumb. It didn’t stop bleeding & she had to put plaster. Don’t know why she was rushing! Hubby’s massage wasn’t fantastic too, don’t know why they’re all rushing through their services. Paying more, we expected better service but.. never going back there.. try at your own risks ! There are better massage / spa elsewhere!
