SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 991 Rama 1 Road Siam Paragon, 10330, Thailand
Sea life is super cool because not only does it have ocean animals, it also has animals from the rainforest and ect. Also the have this cool igloo where there is fake snow and next to it there is a game which is projected by a projector! Also sea life has help and saved many animals and I am very happy with what they do☺️ so next time you are in Siam Paragon you should check it out( by the way it is at the very bottom floor. (Just a heads up?)
Fantastic place to get immersed in the aqua world and its residents.Best time to visit would be the first half and get online tickets as you get direct entry. The overall tour takes roughly 30-45mins but you can time it with the feeding schedule (check photos). The place has almost every variety of sea life you can dream of and watch them up close. Best part of this place are viewing galleries with large windows where you can just sit and enjoy the sea life go about their lives.
It was amazing man-made place! It was great for family time. You should go early because there were lots of people visiting. Highly recommended!
This is a good aquarium though seems to be smaller than some that i have been to. It filled up a good hour or so and the kids loved the penguins and otters. The shark tunnel is also a highlight. The ticket is good value when bought with madame tussads together. It was a little unclear what time feeding times were and once inside staff were not very visible. A rainforest area has a few reptiles and so on but is not bery impressive but otherwise its a good hot or rainy day activity for the kids.
We visited the Sea Life Aquarium in Bangkok, and decided to go for the ticket with the 4D Movie, the glass boat, popcorn, and Madame Tussauds. The ticket while a bit expensive is worth the price, as it is valid for 7 days, and also includes photos, and a visit to Madame Tussauds. The glass bottom boat experience is itself also very nice.Would recommend to all who like such experiences.
the aquarium is well designed with many différents rooms (jelly fish room, jungle room etc). you can see a lot of species of the region (sharks , etc)at an extra cost, you can also navigate on a see through boat above sharks and various fishes it is a nice experience the tickets can also give you access to a local 4D short movie projection… this was not necessary (the movie is not related to the ocean experience) and not great experience (also a lot of the seats that are suppose to give you the 4d experience were broken , and youngest kid actually ended up on one of of those unfortunately)
Great experience for little kids. There were lots of interesting sea life. They have several types of sharks and my daughter loved seeing them, I paid for an upgraded visit that was supposed to include a clear bottom boat ride and never figured out where that was.
I recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit my favorite aquarium! This aquarium is truly a treasure trove of marine life, featuring an astonishing variety of sea creatures. From the graceful movement of jellyfish to the vibrant colors of coral reefs, there is so much to see and discover. A highlight of our visit was the enchanting penguin exhibit, where we enjoyed watching these delightful creatures waddle and swim with such playful energy. In addition to the penguins, we explored the lush tropical rainforests, which are home to a diverse range of exotic species. The starfish labs were especially fascinating, allowing us to observe these unique creatures up close. And, of course, we couldn’t miss the thrilling shark tank, which left us both in awe of these magnificent predators. My love for sea animals has always run deep, and each trip to the aquarium only strengthens that passion. The vibrant colors, graceful movements, and incredible diversity of life beneath the waves never cease to amaze me.
Complete scam £40 for a tiny exhibition which you’ll walk through in about 15 mins a boat ride which you’ll have to wait anywhere upto 2 hours and are not allowed to re-enter if you leave so you’re expected to sit and wait. They provide a drink and popcorn but the drink is 90% water with Pepsi. Staff are polite but management is rude. avoid like the plague don’t waste your money
I visited Sealife back in 2019 during my holidays in Bangkok. My bf however had never been and so we decided to go. As the first time i was again mesmerized. They have a good variety of species and we were lucky this time to see them being fed. The aquarium is well designed and situated at the heart of Bangkok in Siam Paragon. Easy to access and bookings can be done online so that you do not need to queue up. If you have children they would definitely enjoy this activity and you would love it yourself.
SEA LIFE Bangkok, located conveniently in the basement of Siam Paragon, offers a fun and easy-to-reach aquarium experience. While it’s not very large, there’s a good variety of marine life to see, including many species I had never encountered before. The highlight for me was the jellyfish section—it’s beautifully designed and mesmerizing to watch. Overall, it’s a good place to visit, especially if you’re already at Paragon and want to spend a couple of hours exploring underwater wonders.
It was an opportunity to have a closer look at the various sea animals. Everything was well displayed for an immersive experience. And the staff were welcoming. However, if you don’t intend to purchase a photo of your visit, simply politely refuse to have same taken when you enter the aquarium. Anyway you can take photos with your smartphone.Else, there were also some nice souvenirs being sold there.
Small and overcrowded tanks (meaning that some fish had fins injuries due to cannibalism/attacks by other fish in the tank, as well as the majority of fish and sea turtles were circling non-stop).Also, high interaction between staff and animals (eg. staff using food to train otters to be cuddled) as well as customers and animals (some starfish are in isolated little pools so that the customers can touch them). On top of it, the staff didn’t say anything to kids banging on the tanks, despite several signs ask not to do so (I will not even mention the complete zero value of the role of their parents, here).I am sorry to say that this place is not ethical at all, it is no better than tours to ride elephants and cuddle tigers. The fact that something makes tourists happy, doesn’t mean that it is respectful and positive for the animals involved. This should be a place of culture and animal protection, not a place that rides people’s ignorance.
