This place can be a little hard to find but it is well worth the look. You are greeted by the lovely couple that own and run their shop and offered refreshments while you browse. There is no pushy salesman here, this is a shop of quality. This is the place to find that perfect item to take home to remember your holiday. We have purchased wooden carvings, scarfes and rugs on our visits and had no trouble taking them into australia as the shop owner packs them professionaly and attaches proof of purchase from their shop. Highly recommended for quality gifts.
If you are looking for quality gifts that will last a life time don’t miss this wonderful Aladdin’s Cave. Asian Collection at Kata provides you with beautiful textiles, scarfs, cushion covers, rugs and much more. The quality is excellent and the service from the proprietor and his wife is exceptional. They offer refreshment free of charge while you browse around their shop. Both are very friendly and are eager to assist you. I purchased two gorgeous carpets which were delivered to my hotel and paid for on delivery. They had wrapped and packaged them in plastic for easy transportation home. We were also given a huge discount and when I mentioned I had come to his shop specifically after reading many reviews on trip advisor, I was given a further discount on my purchases. If you want something a bit different don’t miss this experience.

No pushiness or pressure are going to be experienced . They want to truly help you find that unique item to take home. Yes they have the normal souviners that other merchants carry but what other gems they have. Give them a chance to show their treasures to you. Not to worry if you do not buy anything-they will thank you for coming and wish you a great trip home.Some of the unique items they carry include well carved elephants, Kasrmire rugs and scarves of various sizes and qualities. I visited this shop based on the great reviews on Trip Advisor. I wanted to get a few nice things for our home and they definitely have higher-quality items. We purchased a beautiful hanging, as well as two scarves. The man working was very helpful and gave us a fair price for all three items. He also packaged them up nicely for the trip home. Worth a visit.
I happened inside this little shop because of a pretty fabric hanging in the window. Once inside, I was greeted so warmly by the owner. My teenage kids joined me and the owner proceeded to sit us down on a comfortable couch and show us rug after rug. We “face-timed” with my husband for his opinion and ended up buying 3 beautiful hand-knotted, Kashmir rugs, along with a couple of scarves and throws. He gave us a good price and packaged them all in a box, suitable for airplane travel. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely go back!

Pure silk, cashmire, hand made with perfect quality… Ahmed, the person who welcome us on the shop, is very friendly, smile, polite, with excelente knowledge pf materials and colors.
