Asian Spicy Garden is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 43/84, Moo 1, Nongprue, Banglamung, 20150, Thailand
A great place to visit if you are a fan of cooking. They show you how to plant spices. But pre booking was required. I got there by myself with no prior booking. They told me the museum was for guided tours, for groups who pre booked. So I wasn’t let inside the museum. But I enjoyed the beautiful garden and the spice and gift shop. So much to buy if you love cooking.
The area isn’t completely finished, the signs are in Russian, some of them are not in English. I don’t recommend anyone visiting this place for a few months after this review is posted
A spice garden and we miss it? Not a chance. Lucky we were, since it normally asks for booking and on this occasion we could walk in. Interesting range of spices and herbs, colourful, tasty. Good visit.
Great cooking class with a great chef, we made a four course meal all thai dishes, if you are interested to learn thai cooking this course is a great choice.
Easy step by step guide to 5 dishes, well explained, made Thai dishes easy to make, you get a certificate at the end and a recipe booklet so that you don’t forget how to make tasty Thai dishes when you get home. There is a herb garden tour included and a spice shop too. Highly recommended. But please go hungry as you will eat everything you cook, fun and enjoyable tasty experience.
We had a lovely morning at Asian Spicy Garden. Our taxi picked us up promptly and we were shuttled to the venue. On arrival we were taken through the spice garden which housed several interesting specimen of spice trees and plants. Next we went to the kitchen where we learned to cook four dishes and a desert. Our instructor was very patient and expertly guided us through the process to create tasty Thai dishes like chicken green curry, chicken fried rice, tom yum soup, green papaya salad and thai sticky rice with fresh mango. Highly recommended! Thank you.
These folks never picked me up at Jomtien Beach Long Stay. I expect Full refund. I am upset, wanted to go. Probably don’t have time for reschedule. Unprofessional.Bobby Lynas
Walk around the herb garden and then onto the cooking experience, was well worth the money spent, the chef was good, and those who entered left fill,
My morning immersed in the delights of Thai cuisine was truly remarkable. The journey began with a punctual taxi ride from my hotel to Asian Spicy Garden, where Leo greeted me warmly. He guided me through his enchanting herb garden, sharing insights about various plants and their culinary and health benefits, which I found fascinating. Next, I entered the kitchen to learn the art of preparing five exquisite dishes: Tom Yum Goong, Khao Pad Gai, Som Tam, Geang Khew Waan Gai, and Mango Sticky Rice. After the cooking session, I proudly received a certificate and a recipe sheet to take home. Before leaving, I explored Leo’s shop filled with an impressive selection of spices, teas, coffees, and herbs available for purchase. A seamless taxi ride brought me back to my hotel, capping off an unforgettable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone interested in Thai cooking.
