  1. This place is truly amazing. They have just opened three months ago and are really doing something good. We were struggling to go there at first because we heard so much about fake sanctuaries all over Thailand that are still mistreating the animals. This place though really takes good take of the elephants! The elephant wasn’t forced to do anything and could do what she wanted at any time. We were given a lot of helpful information and were asked to respect the animal‘s wishes. Nonetheless, we were able to interact with the elephant and were able to get to know a lot about her. We were feeding her, took a walk with her through the jungle and even gave her a shower. Again, she could have left at any time which she did at one point and the guides asked us to respect that and wait. This really showed us the warm-heartedness and care they feel towards the elephants and that they really want to do something good. The entry fee is going to be used to buy more elephants from horrible „riding camps“ to rescue them since they have just started the sanctuary three months ago! I would really recommend this place!!!

  2. We had such a great morning here. We were picked up from our hotel and brought home afterwards. It was a small group so we felt like we got so much 1:1 time with the elephants. We were hesitant to go to any elephant sanctuary’s as we questioned the ethics of it. But you could see how much the workers loved and cared for the 3 elephants we got to see. There was plenty of feeding opportunities and an enjoyable walk with the elephants. The tour guides were so informative and friendly would definitely recommend!

  3. We had a lovely time with the elephants at the sanctuary. However, we would have liked to know more about the association and the rescue of elephants. No information was communicated to us on this point, which made us doubt the authenticity of the actions carried out by this sanctuary. The elephants look good but it still seems like a very lucrative business considering the price paid and the number of tourists passing through.

  4. We booked the big tour. The pick-up from the accommodation was included in the price. We were picked up punctually at the agreed time and taken to the sanctuary. There we received a very warm welcome, checked in and then we started with a short introductory video. After that we started straight away with the preparation of rice balls for feeding. During the preparation the guide told us a lot about the 2 elephant ladies and answered every question that was asked. Our group consisted of 3 families (14 people). This group size was very pleasant. Now everyone fed their rice balls individually to one of the elephants and photos could be taken. The group was then split up. Everyone got a bag of bananas for the elephants and a shoulder bag with a bottle of water for themselves. One group walked with the younger of the 2 elephants for 20-30 minutes through the extensive grounds. The bananas were fed in between. The other group walked a little way to the back of the grounds with the older elephant lady and fed her there. The groups were then swapped so that everyone was with every elephant.A lot of information about the animals was shared. After both groups had finished, there was the opportunity for a mud bath for the younger elephant lady. It looked like fun 🤩We expected this to be the end, but we were told that there had been a third elephant in the facility for 3 weeks and that they would show him to us. So we left the facility and entered another facility on the opposite side of the street. We ended up in a large, beautiful pavilion. At the back there was an artificial waterfall, lots of places to sit and a great view of a wide-ranging enclosure. The 3rd elephant was standing there quite far back. Unfortunately, he only wanted to examine us from a safe distance, but it was very positive that the animals were allowed to move freely around the facility and that it was accepted when they retreated. The guides served us a generous buffet consisting of fruit, various cold drinks, biscuits, cakes AND cold refreshing towels😍This was ALL included in the price. We had few expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. The animals are treated very lovingly.

  5. Amazing place run by great people. Small groups, no rush, much time with elephants, many feeding moments, and then even some private mud spa spectacle by the youngest elephant. Definitely a go if you want to have some quality time with these beautiful creatures and people who really care for them! 10/10 experience.

  6. We had booked the big tour in the morning and were lucky that we were alone that morning and therefore had a private tour. The transfer from the hotel and back was excellent. When we got there, we were greeted very warmly by our guide. Thank you for the great tour with lots of interesting information about the elephants. We were allowed to feed the elephants with homemade dumplings, or Knudeln, as the guide called them. 😉The beautiful animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner on a huge, beautiful site and can enjoy their well-earned retirement here. It was very important to us that the elephants were not abused for riding or other tourist tricks. It was particularly nice to go for a walk with the elephants at their own pace. When they were eating or scratching themselves extensively on a tree, we waited without the guide urging them to move on.Afterwards there were refreshments and fresh fruit. Many thanks to our great guide for the unforgettable experience. We can recommend this tour without reservation! The well-being and happiness of the elephants is our top priority and everyone who comes here supports the work and continued existence of this great facility.
