Century The Movie Plaza is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 15 Phaya Thai Road,Phaya Thai,Ratchathewi , 10400, Thailand
nice mall to hang out if you are waiting for something or someone. We went to the movies. It was nice and clean. Snacks were the usual movie things. Pleasant, Other places to shop and to have tea. Koi bubble tea and McDonalds, Starbucks…etc
I usually have business meetings near the Victory Monument area and stay nearby. Century is the best place for us to solve our daily needs as well as find mediocre gifts. Open food stalls by the evenings were worth trying.
We have been here for two consecutive days. We have chosen the luxury room, to experience once. It costs 1200 bath per set of chair. You can then sit back and use VIP lounge. It’s fun to do once. We have the whole room for ourselves. I do not think it’s the price, but because we were going to watch an English version of the film. I say just do it !!
When you park there, you are told you have to make at least a 200 Baht purchase to get parking validation. So you have to make a purchase, then take your receipt to the 3rd floor to get validation. Then they try to keep your receipt, so without it you cannot return a purchase. Now this kicker is, even with the validation, they STILL CHARGE you for parking! Don’t park your car here and get scammed! Don’t shop here and get ripped off!
Mall with a cinema, do take note that if you are watch late night movie, you have to exit the shopping mall via the carpark and walk from the back of the mall.Supermarket appeals to higher segment customers as compared to Tesco on the other side of the BTS. Mall is connected to BTS from second level of the mall.
Vegetarian stall at the basement outside the supermarket. Lovely mango salad and other dishes. Opens till 9pm.
The Mall is relatively new (within the last 12 months) so it is nice and clean. It isn’t huge but it has lots of good restaurants, good selection of clothing retailers and of course the cinema which screens western & Thai movies. It’s connected by a walk-way to Tesco-Lotus across the road which has a Big C and other food stalls and retail outlets. Outside both, at night time is a very pleasant night market. Whats not to like?
I have been there several times. My last visit was in June this year. Food shops outside changed a lot. I used to grab some foods I liked outside and combined with foods at the food court to kill time.
It’s a small contemporary shopping mall, with a nice selection of eateries that doesn’t try to be anything special.Fully air-conned and right next to the On Nut BTS system
