  1. It’s only a few years since Pattana Golf and Country Club first opened but it keeps getting better.every year. The clubhouse remains the same with extended catering of meals from early morning to late evening. There have been subtle changes to improve the golf course and the management has changed as well. The new team have take a big decision and banned groups of more than four playing. This allows them to offer a start time every eight minutes. This is great as every other club allows groups of five and six golfers to play and hold up everyone else on the course.. As visitors, we wish that every other golf course in Thailand would ban groups of more than four playing together. Thailand is the only country we know that allows this bizarre way of playing golf that slows play down to a crawl!

  2. The golf course is ok, but they allow too many players on to the course at the same time. To make it even worse they allow groups of 5 players. As most golfers know, that is nothing a serious golf course would ever do! Be prepared for rounds of 6 hours if you still want to play here.

  3. I have played this course four times over the last four years. If you are staying in Pattaya there are better courses nearer. Attracts players who appear to be new to golf and its etiquette! Expect five hours. The actual course only average, and has always needed TLC. The club a concrete edifice.

  4. Nice course with 27 holes A,B & C. Fairways and greens are in good condition. Long course with a par6!. Index 1 is 477 yards hard to get on in two. Caddies were read the greens well. Clubhouse facilities like lockers and restaurant were good especially food and service. Worth to play if you are in Pattaya.

  5. Pattana golf club outside Amata City on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand is one of the few golf clubs that operates a policy of allowing a maximum of only four players out together. The course operates three nines and this allows them to fit in the maximum number of groups playing and maintaining starting times.Virtually every other golf course will allow five or six players and this slows play down to a crawl with everyone behind help up at every hole! It’s a pleasure to play at Pattana Golf Club. the caddies are incredibly well trained and make usre each cart has a plastic glass and ice so that golfers can have cold drinks. If it looks like rain, they will have rain covers for the visitors go;f clubs as well.

  6. This is a first-class 27-hole golf course that is well managed and a pleasure to play with about 650 electric carts for rental. The caddies are well training and carry rain covers in case of showers. It has been open for a number of years now but they are still making ongoing improvements to the course.Best of all, they have a strict policy of a maximum of four golfers playing together. Wish that every other golf course in Thailand would copy them as groups of five and six golfers ruin the speed of play!Their special offers in the low season are good, but their rates for high season are just a little bit too much and ‘canny’ Scots will play elsewhere!

  7. We shouldn’t have booked a more expensive one-bedroom apartment over normal hotel room since the building was so isolated they had to provide free rides via golf carts and small bus. The room itself was spacious with adjacent living/kitchen and two full baths. The kitchen had refrigerator and sink but nothing else so bring your own stuffs if you are addicted to coffee like us. The rooms smelled of sewer or something sometimes so it’s not worth the additional cost. The inclusive breakfast was really good, though, with lots of choices including made-to-order eggs and porridges. Buffet lunch (not included) was excellent for the price.Personnels there were very polite, gracious and greeted us all the time with smiles and their unending “wais”. Their three 9-hole golf courses were beautiful and well maintained. We played golf every days we were there and my hubby was very happy about it. As for me, it would have been much more fun if my caddies hadn’t been overly friendly (as soon as they learned that I’m also Thai) I spent most of my time listening to them talking. I didn’t even get to appreciate the fantastic views around me for I had to constantly pay attention to our conversations. Forget about my golfing because I totally lost my concentration.

  8. Beautiful, interesting, well kept, never boring course with some very long holes. The greens are very fast. Caddies: Always smiling but – due to the poor English I guess – not helpful for what concerns game issues (strategy, trajectories of the greens etc.). Pro shop: nothing special. Generally speaking, green Fees of the better Thai courses are all but cheap. Therefore it’s time to expect a better (at least understandable) basic English. The same for waiters etc.

  9. The course is quite far from Pattaya and closer to Sri Racha. That’s why more of their customers are from Korea and Japan. Pattana has great offers until the end of October and is getting more expensive afterwards. If you compare the green fee with the courses around Pattaya, you might find a better price value at other locations. The course has a Korean restaurant and you will see a lot of Korean players. Some like them, some think, that their golf is a bit slower than in other countries. The course itself is nice, well maintained and has fast greens. Each of the holes is different, you will find nice Par 3s with island greens and well guarded greens on other holes. We had good experience with our caddies. The restaurant is more expensive than at other places (e.g. local small Singha beer is 120 THB, soup for 220), but the food was excellent. Leverage Pattya Sport Clubs membership, they offer good discounts (1500/1800 for greenfee).

  10. Great team at the Pattana Golf & Spa Resort. Particular mention to Tina and her team on the front desk who are so professional and helpful in setting up the World Schools Festival 2023.
