Our trip was a blast, with our driver Yu being incredibly friendly and helpful. The train market was a great experience, and I’d suggest taking a short detour off the main tracks to visit the local fresh market, which is just to the right; it’s fascinating and filled with fresh seafood to explore. The boat ride to the floating market was a true highlight, gliding past charming houses and picturesque canals flanked by coconut trees. However, the floating market itself felt a bit touristy, with countless souvenir stalls and, during peak season, heavy congestion on the waterways. Many boats are powered by motorcycle engines, which can produce quite a bit of exhaust, leading to some less-than-ideal air quality. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend this excursion for those seeking adventure.
