Retro environment, good service,located beside the road ,the price is more expensive than other massage centers. Everyone likes to have different tastes and end up with coconut juice and fruit entertaining.

I have been to this spa for massage on both my visits to Chiang Mai. The 2 hour massage melted months of stress away, incredible! M was my masseuse I requested, he was professional and exceptional. When I get back to Chiang Mai I will be returning. Thanks M!
I must say this place was a surprise. I had yesterday a massage in another place and was so disappointed but this place was amazing. We had one of the package 30min body scrub and 90 minutes aroma massage for 1700 bath.They let you choose the aroma oil for the massage.M2M massage was very good, the boy was very attractive and nice, spoke a fair amount of English for a conversation and very professional.The body scrub was amazing, the room very nice and clean as well the in-room shower very nice and clean, only side note was the water for the shower was a bit cold, not really hot temperature. It’s a nice place for who enjoy a M2M massage with no clothes on, no shame and nice professional massage. At the end after my final shower and get back outside, they served a fresh coconut, fresh watermelon slices and mango sticky rice! Thanks Noom for the really nice massage!
Sanctuary is located in an old Thai style house in front of which is a small cobble paved garden. Shoes are left outside the front door. The reception is comfortable and welcoming. Kuhn “Boon” is the manager. After selecting my therapy from a menu I was invited to take a shower, lock up my valuables and put on a robe and slipper and shown to my room. There are tatami mats for Thai massage or massage bed for other types of massage. I went twice recently. I purchased the “Harmony” package which comprises a body scrub/shower/aromatherapy massage/shower/facial. Total time 3 hrs. Cost was baht 2700. Well worth the experience which was very professional and relaxing. During my recent holiday in Chiang Mai I visited Sanctuary twice; on one occasion I asked for James as my masseur and on the other Joe, both were very good. After the massage I was given a complimentary slice of fresh fruit and a drink. I can recommended Sanctuary Spa.
About this we can be short (and sorry, this time no accompanying pictures): this is a perfect place to enjoy a real good Thai massage, body scrub of facial scrub. Very clean but relaxing atmosphere and politie and well-trained staff.Big compliments!!
We went to this spa for a 2 hous aromatic massage, my masseuse did not do the necessary to ensure my neck or head is in a comfortable position before starting, unlike my sis and mum’s. Throughout the massage i did not have my glasses on thus i did not know that both my sis and mum were lying comfortably with their neck supported while i was jus lying flat back facing the ceiling, i have to constantly turned my neck to the left and right as i felt the strain on my neck. On top of that i do not feel masseuse putting in much effort in the massage, highly disappointed with this experience as this massage cost more than the usual thai massage.
I went with two friends and they had availability for all of us. We each had a room, which had a shower to rinse off before and after privately. My massuese didn’t ask about the pressure, but I certainly didn’t need more he was perfect. My massage was a blend of hot oil and traditional Thai, which I liked. The spa overall was clean, and the front desk manager and masseuse’s were professional. They had different scented oils from which to pick for your massage, 4-5 different oils, and it was fun to pick.
My husband and I visited together and both received high quality massages. His masseuse was Jim and mine was Joe. Joe is trained in Thai massage and he was totally attentive and skillful. We highly recommend both of them if you visit this spa. Really glad we chose 2 hour treatments.
Please beware. I caught a severe, antibiotic resistant bacterial infection from this establishment. It’s been months of antibiotics, and it can’t be cleared. I’m 100 percent certain that I acquired this infection there. Please avoid this place.
