  1. Me and friend came to learn how to make Thai food with the right way.For there i known alot of Technic to cook perfect Thai food. The taste very different from outside. They do not use any MSG and almost no sugar.I ask for Staff Issaya recipes course taken some manus from Issaya Siamese club.My friend prefer to vegetarian. There are support with vegetarian also (No charge).Price are very cheap that a got from Issaya cooking studio.Everyone can cook but just someone know how to cook with the right ways :)So then i need to learn from them.

  2. as well as some cooking tricks in the kitchen that can be used for other dishes, then you should consider this class. The best cooking studio for learning cookings Definitely the best cooking school in Bangkok!

  3. I had been there with my friend, and I was very impressed. The chef gave us a very clear explanation of the method in every dishes. Also, the food was very tasty! Loving it!

  4. I wasn’t expect it to be this nice at first when I first book a cooking class with Issaya cooking studio, however it’s turn out amazing!First I am the only one in the class since there is no other booking, I was so lucky! It’s 4 dishes class, and the menus I had today are- Thai ceviche style salmon- Pomelo salad- baby ribs pork marinated with red paste- Market fish, grilled shallots and fried chili in a lemongrass-tamarind brothThe instructor was so nice and clearly explain the method to me, and it quite easier than what I expected it to be!!! I have so much fun while learning cooking! Also, every dish was so delicious! Would love to recemmend this place for travelling and a perso who willing to learn Thai dish!

  5. Wow what a great cooking class.I essentially had a private lesson as it was just me and one other person. Our cooking instructor was excellent. The dishes we cooked turned out amazing and looked fantastic.I just wish they gave us the recipe for the base for the massaman curry because Issaya Siamese Club makes the best I’ve ever tasted(they own a restaurant)As someone who goes to cooking classes often I highly recommend this one.The cooking studio is also beautiful and modern

  6. As a long time expat in Bangkok I do not share the general enthusiasm about this cooking class. It is true that the place is well equipped, air conditioned, elegant, easy to get to.On the downside: The instructor was certainly a professional but despite the group being small (five in all) he didn’t follow us very closely and everyone got a little confused at one point or another about what to do. With such a small group he should have been more attentive to each of us. I wasn’t thrilled with the result either. At 1,000 or maybe 1,500 baht this would have been OK but 3,531 baht was way to expensive. A week before I had been to one of the much more down-to-earth cooking schools in the Silom area and found them more engaging, better organized despite larger groups, paying more attention to details as well as to customers, and all for 1,000 baht which included a market tour and a nice little cookbook. So this is a clear thumbs down for Issaya.

  7. So you’ll maybe not be taught by Chef Ian Kittichai – but we were! It was booked last minute and happened to be the one day of the month that he was teaching at his Issaya Cooking Studio. The cooking studio is in the bottom of the Central Embassy, right in the middle of the EatThai experience – must do – and is a spacious comfortable place to cook/learn. The class takes about a half a day, and ours featured three dishes, including Ian’s signature red curry braised short ribs, a sous vide chicken breast with skin on that was then pan seared with a yellow turmeric curry sauce; and then a parchment paper bag steamed filet of seabass with a green curry, wine and delicate vegetables. Time FLEW by as you first watch Chef Kittichai demonstrate the recipe and then you head to your well stocked station to recreate the dish. The entire team at the cooking studio is fantastic. They provide unintrusive service and take care of the dirty work so you can focus on method and technique. Learned a lot, ate a lot. It was a fun and unique experience all foodies should try.
