  1. We went to see the flower show at Nai Lert Park Heritage home on Sunday. The park was well-maintained and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The home is amazing but small. The flower displays were beautiful.

  2. We were fortunate to be in Bangkok at the time of the Nai Lert Flower and Garden Art Fair and were there on the first of the 4 days.It was all quite stunning and we would really describe much of it as floral art installations, which were set out variously around the park amidst the park’s natural and permanent landscaping. The most amazing display was the chandeliers competition entries in the glasshouse – mind-blowing.There are also craft and food stalls, and a visit around the Heritage Home was included in the ticket price (150 THB).This is an annual event and we certainly recommend it for February 2020.

  3. I went to Nai Lert Park Heritage Home for a large group dinner held in the glasshouse. Wonderful, serene gardens contrasted the busy traffic outside. rest rooms were in good order. Gardens are obviously well tended. Worth a visit.

  4. It’s difficult to think there might still be a hidden gem of an attraction in the middle of Bangkok, but Nai Lert Heritage Home is indeed such a place. The magnificent gardens, canals and home (over 20,000 sq mtrs in total) are tucked away directly behind the British Embassy compound (and Central Embassy shopping center). The manicured gardens and Thai bungalow style Residence have been in this location for over 100 years, having been built by Nai Lert, one of Thailand’s earliest and most successful entrepreneurs. Amongst his most successful ventures was establishing Bangkok first bus service, which was subsequently bought by the government. You can even view one of the original buses, on exhibit near the entrance to the grounds. The only drawback of Nai Lert Park are the very limited opening hours – Thursday and Friday only, from 11am-4pm. And, often during these opening times there are restrictions if the Park is booked for a private function. Which, often it is. But don’t let this discourage a visit. Simply phone ahead to ensure full access is available when you’re planning to go. The park also has two lovely restaurants adjoining the entrance, one Thai, one Western, and these are open independent of the more restricted hours of the Park itself. Nai Lert Park is truly an Oasis in the center of Bangkok.

  5. This is a wonderful facility that has very strange hours. Stick with it and get inside (perhaps waiting until the February Flower festival) and you will be rewarded by seeing the home and gardens of a Sino-Thai entrepreneur that truly changed the face of this neighborhood.

  6. Visited flower n garden art fair..beautiful flower arrangements..mini seven wonders..floral carpet design..eating stalls..can spend 1-2 hours..lovely photo spots..garden accesories..liked it..

  7. Visiting on December 5, 2020. The staff provided excellence services and best hospitality. There were many attractive materials, shows and informations. Very impressive history.

  8. The park is located in CBD of Bangkok so it is an excellent place to take a break from the crowd. Highly recommend for a stroll (enter is free of charge) as the greenery and garden are beautiful and well taken care of. There is a guided tour provided for those who want to go up the teakwood house. The ticket was 250thb for adult (100thb for students). The tour was pleasant and informative. It provided a glimpse into emerging Bangkok in early modern Thailand through the family’s history. The woodwork and architectural detail of the house were the highlight for me. Truly enjoyed my time there.

  9. You have to book a guided tour via the website. Depending upon which street side you arrive from can be a bit tricky too find ! However, peaceful setting of Nai Lert park (actually the area is quite small and really a garden). The heritage house is fascinating as is the story of the family. Had an excellent guide with fluent English and knowledgeable about the history of Nai Lert family and business. Couple of coffee/ dining options within the grounds though we didn’t try those. Well worth spending a couple of hours here

  10. The house is in a wonderful park setting in central Bangkok. You can just walk around the park which has a number of really nice restaurants and take a personalised tour of the house which we did, it lasts about 50 minutes. The tour of the house was well worth it. The is a beautiful building constructed througout in teak, you get to find out the background as to whom built it and why and also learn about where the very large collection.of artefacts came from. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand.
