When I stay at Dream Hotel on Soi 15 Sukhumvit in Bangkok, I usually would nip down to nearby Healthland for a massage treatment.This time I tried Coran Spa at Dream Hotel itself. I had the most wonderful experience that I quickly booked for seconds the next day.The branch at Dream Hotel is may be a tad small (so reservations advised) but the intimate setting did not lessen the service and experience. The receptionist was very charming and welcoming whilst my therapist, Khun Jum, was most professional in both the treatment and approach. Her “bedside manner” was so subtle whilst the massage comfortably firm and pertinent: she could sense and treat the “pain points” and yet didn’t inflict pain. The aromatic massage gave me a new body and if not for my schedule, I would have liked two instead of an hour’s treatment.Seriously, I could fly back to Bangkok just for the Dream stay and massage.
My wife and I stayed at the Dream Hotel on Soi 15 Sukhumvit post New Year 2019. We would usually treat ourselves to some massage treatment at a decent spa after a long day of traipsing about Bangkok.After we checked in, we wanted to make a reservation soonest, to revitalize our energies and give our body a bit of pampering. Much to our disappointment Coran Spa was booked solid for the next two days. A sure sign of it being good but at the same time, it having limited treatment rooms available was also contributory to the clogged up schedule.We were pleased to secure an appointment on the third day of our stay and we wanted to make the most of it and to thoroughly enjoy the experience. It was immensely worth it. I took a 100 minute Thai massage and my wife a 2 hour combo. My treatment room was specifically designed for Thai massage for a couple. The air-conditioning was a bit too strong for my liking, but my therapist was able to layer me up accordingly. She was most professional in her approach and was able to anticipate the extent I was able to stretch my limbs. I felt completely rejuvenated after.The ambience of the spa, although, as mentioned earlier was a tad small, still gave a calming effect. Kudos to the design and all of the staff there in creating and sustaining the atmosphere. Even though the place may be small, but the range of services and treatments offered are substantial.I would certainly recommend an appointment to sample a soothingly wonderful pampering from the therapists on hand.
We decided to try the thai traditional massage during our visit and had a very pleasant experience.The staffs were very professional and gave very clear instructions before the massage. The place was also very clean. The masseuses were very experienced. They know exactly where your knots are and were very skilled to straightened them. It was painful (it was meant to!) but we felt so light and refreshed after the massage! I have never felt so flexible after a massage before!
We stayed at the Dream Hotel. I am happy that we decided to select this spa over the huge and packed Health Land spa, which is within walking distance. My husband and I shared a room to enjoy the 2- hour deep tissue massage. The staff are really skilful, though they speak very little English. And they do offer discounts (depending on packages) to hotel guests. So ask before you book.
Excellent scrub/arnoma massage, nice Jacuzzi bath tub. Value for money 1650baht for 2 hrs, this is my 4th trip.
As a guest at the hotel I was offered a discount but even at full price the rates seem reasonable. This was my first Thai massage so I can’t compare but everything was clean and professional and my massage was a fantastic experience. Much different than the Swedish massage I’m used to but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
The spa was clean and masseuse were professional. My husband and I did the traditional Thai massage on the first day of our stay at the hotel. It was good! On the last day, we tried the aromatherapy spa and it was so relaxing, we enjoyed it tremendously. Although there was the Healthland Spa at Asoke which was very near our hotel, we liked Coran boutique spa even though it was slightly more. It is more worth it to do the massage at the hotel than to do it in Healthand or any spa nearby! It was worth it! Would come here again!
I just finished a 4 hour spa treatment that was excellent on multiple levels. Ayavedic head massage, body scrub, 90 minute body massage ending with a facial. Very nice facility but small so reserve early. I have been traveling for 2 weeks and this treatment have prepared me for the long flights home.
Not been since before Covid. Happy to say still a great hotel and staff friendly and efficient. Good location too.
We used to go to the Coran since 2007 and it was certainly one of the best adress in Bangkok for a massage or spa treatments. It’s unfortunately not the case anymore and it’s a pity. From a very pleasant house they moved to a small hotel and they don’t have space anymore.I don’t want to say bad things about this place which is always in our mind when we think about Bangkok but it’s unfortunately over. F***ing Covid !!!
