Decided to do my Open Water Certification in Koh Tao, but ended up staying longer than planned to do my Advanced Open Water and Wreck Specialty as well. I was lucky to work with Chris one on one, and I think a huge reason I was hooked on diving so quickly was having him as an instructor. Some people are natural-born teachers, and Chris is one of those people. His passion for diving is contagious and his easy going nature made for a really great learning experience on my end. Definitely recommend!
We had a great experience with Chris as our instructor on our Advanced Open Water course that we completed in July 2022. Chris has got a real passion for diving and his easy going personality instantly puts you at ease. After I finished my PADI open water diver on Koh Tao, I directly continued with the Advanced Open Water lead by Chris. In my opinion he is a very knowledgebly and kind instructor. We had five nice diving sessions on Koh Tao with him. I would recommend him as a guide and diving buddy for everyone who considers any diving activity.

I had the absolute pleasure of doing my open water qualification with Chris at Simple Life in Koh Tao. Despite being a bit anxious about what was to come, Chris quickly reassured me and turned the whole experience into one of the best of my life.It was fun, educational, comforting and everything I’d hoped a course like this would be.I can’t recommend him highly enough and I hope that he’s still around on my next trip to Koh Tao.
It was a great experience diving with and learning from Chris! He’s a very experienced and calm teacher with a very attentive personality. He was always aware of every single one of our group. Also special and spontaneously request were no problem for him and he tried to fulfill every of our demands and wishes. I highly recommend him as a diving instructor and would be happy if I can have more courses with him 🙂

What an experience we’ve had doing the 3 day open water scuba diving course with Chris. He made us feel really comfortable and at ease throughout all of the dives but still had a good sense of humour.
