bar hopping has been one of our routines whenever I visit bangkok. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of drinks and how knowledgeable the bartenders are. It definitely helps that the bartenders are hospitable and friendly. Even recommended a few other bars in other countries that I could try! Place is small and cosy. Can be VERY crowded on weekend. Went on weekday and everything is perfect . Would definitely Return
My fiance and I were bar hopping and found this gem. Not going to say much takes away from the surprise, but it is true to it’s name sake.Loved it!

We had a great time at backstage, even though we came a busy night, our waiter took great care of us, and made sure everything was on point. The cocktails were excellent, creative and beautiful, and the menu is very extensive. When the we got the cocktails, they even offered to fix them, if we found them too sour or sweet. I am definitely coming back, the next time I am in Bangkok.
Backstage Bar in Thong Lo is a fantastic little cocktail bar. Hard to find, pull aside the stage curtain and you’ll find this cinema-themed bar with all sorts of interesting and original cocktails. Location is not the easiest to find, when we got there it was empty, however the staff was quite accommodating and served us very good cocktails. The bar is nice and original.

Hidden bar with a theatre theme (hence the name) and deserving of it’s place on the Asia World’s Top 50 Bars list. A talented lineup of bartenders who produce consistently great cocktails. If you are uncertain as to what you want, the team point you in the right direction with a few questions of likes & dislikes. Some may say that it’s hard to find, but it wouldn’t really be a speak-easy if you didn’t have to work at finding it!
