  1. it very good and value for money many activities on the trip. Elephant bathing is wonderful. so enjoyable spent the time here.Elephants are so cute and look like they are well treat.local marget is interesting. We had taste the fresh coconut milk. Local shop owner are kind and give many food for us to taste. Bamboo rafting was beautiful and peacful. And monkeys they are a bit naughty but they look lovely.i am very enjoy and suggest if you come to Khaolak to take this trip.

  2. We took part with two 1-day trips organized by the Unseen Khao Lak agency: the Khao Sok elephant reservation and so called James Bond Island. I will not go into details but just say the trips were absolutely fantastic and unforgettable. The nature was gorgeous obviously but one has to mention the role of the tour guide as well- Mr. Robert Bielski is a man of a thorough knowledge and an exceptionally direct contact with tourists! If ( when ?) you come over to Khao Lak make sure to go for a trip with Unseen Khao Lak ?Krzysztof

  3. I booked via First Choice for my partners birthday as a surprise before we left the UK. I wanted him to meet an elephant but not ride one. The trip I booked was so amazing, we couldn’t have asked for more. The day consisted of:A visit to a local market – trying local fruitA visit to the elephant sanctuary – we made the elephants food, fed her, covered her in mud and then washed it off – amazing!A visit to the local temple and meeting the monkeys.A cookery lesson and local food for lunch.A bamboo raft ride through the rain forest, with a break drinking local coffee and tea.I would highly recommend this trip. The elephant was clearly loved and looked after – no cruelty present. Our guide, Jessie, was so good, attentive and knowledgable.

  4. We took a trip to the Khao Sok area and had a fantastic day. it was an 8am start and we returned at 5pm and fit in so much – yet it never felt rushed. Our tour guide Arisa was perfect, she was lovely and friendly and so informative. And the driver was lovely and helpful too. We began the day by visiting a market, then went on to viewpoint to take a photo and then went on to an elephant sanctuary which was amazing. We were a small group with two beautiful elephants and we made their food, bathed them in mud and then washed them down. Wow, it was amazing! we then went on to an authentic restaurant in the national park and had some delicious lunch and then a cooking lesson for traditional Thai soup! we stopped at a temple and there were monkeys there. Lastly we went on a bamboo raft on the rainforest river….it was two per raft and it felt safe – I was nervous about this bit but I thoroughly enjoyed it! This was an unforgettable day which our family all loved. We went on the tour with TUI from our hotel in Khao Lak.

  5. I booked this via Tui at my hotel. Pick up at the hotel was on time. I shared a mini bus with 8 other people. I did find the guide a little hard to understand but she repeated the information several times so we all got the gist of what she was saying. The first stop was to the local market at Takua PA, about 30 minutes drive. This market is not touristy and there were some fairly smelly fish and meat stalls inside. I bought a bottle of freshly squeezed sugar cane for 25 baht.Next stop was the elephant sanctuary where we mixed the elephant food and fed them by hand. Then walked to the mud bath to give the elephants a mud spa, I think I got as much mud on me too ! Then to the river to wash the mud off and having a photo taken with an elephant. You can buy these photos for 300 baht. After a coffee and freshen up we moved on to our cooking class where we helped make Tom Yam soup, which we then had with a lovely lunch. After that we moved on to the river rafting. Two people per raft and we were taken gently down the river by the boat man. No rapids, so very safe. The scenery is stunning! We stopped halfway at the Unseen Hut, where a fire was lit with bamboo and coffee and tea were made in hollowed out bamboo poles and served in bamboo mugs, which we got to keep afterwards. The final stop was to the Monkey Temple. The temple itself looks lovely from the outside but the interior is currently being refurbished, so not a lot to see inside. A few monkeys were roaming the grounds and there is a cave containing a Buddha statue. A monk was there to give a blessing for a donation. After that we drove back to the hotel, arriving around 5pm. A very good day out!

  6. This day was one of our highlights, as for only ~$108 USD/ person, you are taken to a traditional Thai morning market, an elephant sanctuary where you get to bathe and feed female elephants, Khao Sok national park- where you float on bamboo rafts amidst beautiful nature (looks like Jurassic Park!!), and end the day eating a traditional Thai meal (and learn how to cook delicious Tom Yum soup!). Our tour guide was Jessie, who was amazing! She is hilarious, personable, and knows her stuff. She is very accommodating and helpful. We were put into a group with just 10 people, so it was not too large or overwhelming! We 100% recommend this tour.

  7. The trip to the elephant care sanctuary was excellent, absolutely amazing and would definately go again. The guide, on the other hand was a bit rude. He was speaking in Thai to the driver, which made us feel uncomfortable, didn’t know much about the elephants but knew loads about cooking Thai food.

  8. Excellent trip, Chelsea was amazing as our tour guide and captured so many brilliant photos for us to cherish forever. The bamboo trip was peaceful and tranquil. The fed and played with a load of monkeys which climbed up to head and sat on you! We had some brilliant tasting food and then we finished off at the elephant sanctuary. Where you get you hands and body dirtying feeding and bathing the elephants. Which was a dream come true to be so close to those gentle giants. If your around Phuket it’s 100% a must do!

  9. Best excursion in the area. Great value for the money. I have gone to more expensive and longer excursions and I have not felt any closer to how much joy and valued the experience than on the Khao Sok Eco Tour. Our guide Chelsea was a super star giving us all the insides of the Thai Culture and Bhuddism. Always looking out for us and giving that care and love to our group. Insane experiences on the market and with the monkeys, mud spa with the elephants and bathing with them. Great cooking skills from Chelsea and the lunch was an out of this world experience. I can not recommend enough this excursion and company. 12 stars out 5 if I could. Magical moments.

  10. I was suggested to book a tour with them and I am very satisfied with the outcome of the adventure! We chose the Khao Sok tour and the driver, together with the guide, came directly to the hotel to pick us up. During the whole day we were shown local markets, did tranquil bamboo rafting, had a nice meal with local dishes and had an uforgettable visit to the elephant sanctuary. In the meantime, the nice guide Elik and the driver accompanied us with nice info about the nation and the places we were visiting. Strongly recommended!
