  1. This floating market is about 65 km from Bangkok city. You can take package tour or can go by your self. But there are lot of burgain to go through. Initially they ask a very higher price for the ticket . But you can burgain and pay about 1/5 of their asking price. Boat goes through a very narrow tunnel. On the both side of the tunnel there are shops where you can buy beer to Thai handicrafts . There are also food stall from fresh fruit to Thai delicacies .

  2. This walking tour with a guide was great! We had half a day experiencing river boat, tourist boat, tuktuk taxi and sky train and our guide took us though the temples and palace We saw so much more than being stuck in the massive traffic jams in a minibus The guide kept us well supplied with water and adapted our route when we got too hot Well worth it!

  3. The monk who did the session with us was terrific. He gave us an easily understood outline of what is important to lead a meditative life, and was very natural with both the males and females present – no stand-offishness, not interested in wais, but interested in techniques. And when I tried to pay/donate, he said it was not necessary. But of course I went upstairs and spoke with the nun – whose English is fantastic about a donation – she directed me to a jar for electrical bills … boy, do I know that story from my own country. BTW, I made my own way there the day before and was given a phone number to call to make a booking – sadly that is not to hand now, but I’ll try and post later. You can make your own way there from any bus going to Sanam Luang or by ferry to Tha Prachan.

  4. This was a great day. Picked up by our guide Nood who was great fun and very knowledgeable. Loved the fact that we travelled on public boat, tuktuk and the sky train. Gave us confidence to do the same the next day. Visit the Grand Palace, all the main temples, an artisan village and Jim Thompson house. Nood was able to tell us so much about Thai culture and religion that it made everything much more meaningful and interesting. At the end of the tour she was able to show us a great place for street food, helped order our meal and check our change for us. A lovely lady. Highly recommend this tour.

  5. We really enjoyed our guide, George. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very funny. His English was amazing. We really liked getting to all the sites by so many different means of transportation- boat, sky train, walking and tuk tuk. Highly recommended

  6. The guide and the Ayutthaya itself were really good but, for us, the visit to the Summer Palace wasn’t really worth it.The journey to Ayutthaya was by train which was an interesting experience (from waiting in the station, to the sites, and the introduction to Almond Flavoured Cream Filled Hot Dog Bun). Upon arrival we were taken, by tuk-tuk, to 5 sites for us to walk around. The sites were popular but not overly crowded. There are plenty of ruins and reliquary towers to see and the buddha head in the tree (Wat Mahathat), the lines of buddha statues (wrapped with saffron robes) and the 3 aligned chedis (Wat Phra Si Sanphet) were of particular interest. From here you go into the local town, see roti (pancakes with ‘candy floss’ type cane sugar rolled in between) being made – and taste it of course – and then lunch at a non-tourist open restaurant (the guide will take you somewhere more European if you prefer but why would you?).Finally a pleasant longtail boat ride takes you to the Summer Palace where there are few buildings that you can actually access. (Oh, and you also have to wear a mask inside and outside.) For us the Summer Palace wasn’t worth the visit. The return journey was by private coach. This really was a very pleasant experience and we’d highly recommend it.

  7. We had an amazing 4 days in Bangkok with Exo guide Leng( through Audley). As novice Thsiland & Bangkok visitors we were a bit overwhelmed initially but Leng was fantastic- always on time smiling, helpful & full of fun. Allthough we had planned trips she asked us if we wanted to change anything, frequently checked we were OK, took special photos of us at locations that have given us special lifelong memories. Leng was a hugely knowledgeable, passionate, guide full of pride for her wonderful country with a great sense of humour – we would definitely recommend -we felt so privileged to see the Buddhist monk inauguration ceremony which Leng explained to us& ensured us great views.Thankyou Leng for an amazing timè

  8. We went to Chang Mai after visiting Bangkok with EXO Travel guide KATE. she met us at the airport and took us off to meet our driver for the next three days. On the way to our hotel she explained our itinerary. We had a wonderful time with Kate who again was very knowledgeable in describing the places we were visiting. she took us to a fabulous market and a tour around the area. she was a very pleasant and polite young lady, and when we go again we shall certainly use her again. highly recommended.
